Yeah I saw the chart earlier and there was a few 10" models that got L this isn't one of them not that it really makes any difference in the long run

I have had 3 tablets from Argos E Bay and all been in very good as new condition.
But I had weak WiFi connection problem on one of them and sent it back for repair and it's taken 5 weeks so far. It took them 3 weeks to get a message to me saying yes they have tested it and agree it's faulty so they are now sending it to Lenovo for repair . Very poor service if you are relying on the tablet.

Great spot thank you. I've got a Lenovo A5 and that's more than adequate for my needs. Just ordered one to replace my sons hudl2 that was sat on last night, hopefully he'll look after this one a bit better!

I have an autistic son who goes through tablets quicker than the dispensary at Boots, so this gets voted HOT from me. Even better was I had forgotten that I still had £20-odd in PayPal . Happy Days! :sunglasses:

Its a half decent tablet made by the world largest computer manafacturer. no it's not the latest high spec tablet but for casual use it's perfectly fine. l've been using one of these exact tablets for almost a year and it's handled everything I've tried with no issues.
Care to suggest a better 10" tablet in this price range (that won't take 2mths to ship from gearbest/banggood etc..if it ever arrives..)
It's also available for anyone to buy right now without a wild goose chase to Tesco or Sainsburys unlike most the electrical deals on here lately

yes the worlds largest computer manufacturer specialising in building cheap PC's from components made by underpaid workers to most manufacturing and processing industries.....so your comment is really based on nothing.
as for better? Polatab do a 10" for around the £50-60 mark. A second hand kindle would probably be better or one of the old galaxy notes.
I would go on but dont have time to search the 1000's available
and I will put an edit here this deal or one remarkably similar deal comes up every few months and HUKD users loses their minds and vote it as the hotest thing on the planet because they are naive and see OOO A 10" TABLET FOR £50 AMAZING! the age old applies here "you get what you pay for" and these are and always will be s**t. best saving and investing if you want a tablet with a lifespan

Each to there own i guess...I've bought, used and given up on too many cheap chinese tablets now to care about saving a tenner or so on one of these. I've been using one of these Lenovo A10's for almost a year now so can vouch for it being decent for the money. build quality of the A10 is as good as Tablets I've used costing twice as much.
Polatab is made in the UK just so there is no confusion. Pleased you have found it decent for your own needs.

So what is the point of sites like this for deals when according to you there are none...you get what you pay for.. close HUKD stop looking pay top whack and relax in the knowledge you got what you paid for

Made in uk or designed and sold in uk after chinese assembly?
I suspect they are designed in UK but assembled in China, happy to be proven wrong though as it would be good to know if they are actually UK assembled.
Even if they are chinese assembled it's still useful to know of a UK based Tablet company so as not to have to ship the tablet back to china for warranty etc..like you do with most cheap tablets

No i like opening HUKD and seeing which lenovo has got a super high heat rating, along with which bush or techwood tv has because people cant vote as too how good something is and whether its an actual "deal".
As for closing HUKD it does offer quite a few times decent deals that more often than not dont get the heat rating they deserve and I dont pay "top whack" I pay for quality. But as typical as I expected a response from someone like yourself clearly im not allowed my own opinion so please feel free to tell me what to think

Must admit I tend to agree...a lot of crap does go hot on here just because it's cheap. Just for reference I've spent 20+ years working in Enterprise IT ( I actually work for HP) so I do have a good idea what is decent tech and what is cheap tat. I try to only post tech deals If I can personally vouch for the quality of the device.
I wouldn't have posted this tablet If i didn't own one myself. Purchased myself last April and posted at the time as even back then I was impressed by the quality for the price and I still think it's decent. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lenovo-a10-quadcore-16gb-10-1-tablet-mfr-refurb-with-12mths-warranty-84-99-argos-2208174

Sorry if I made you feel I was trying to tell you what to think I never meant to do that..... but there are reasons people look at lower price products....could be lack of finances, for children, trying out before splashing out on expensive models, presents etc I agree with you that most of the time higher price means better quality.. but where do you draw the line just as you describe a £76 tablet poor because you have spent more...someone else could describe yours poor because they spent more..

A brilliant tablet hugely let down by a miserable battery life and very slow charging. Gets hot when in use - suppose that's where the battery life goes........

I don't have the battery issues but yes, the tablet get hot. Today my (1 year old) Hudl 2 went through a bit more than 3H30 of gaming (Terraria and Heathstone) and still have more than 30% of battery life in it. I think it's pretty good.
so far can say lenovo makes best tablets ... had asus and microsoft tablet and ipad but my older lenovo beats them all .. now i bought this one... good as well 4 money

Bought this for the wife. Delivered within 2 days.
It seems pretty good. You need to install Google Now Launcher in order to hide the Lenovo homescreen. It's impossible to dismiss the Dolby icon in the toolbar - a minor niggle.
Generally seems pretty fast. Useful for regular browsering etc.
The main test will be the battery. Without touching it, it went down 3% after 24 hours idle time. For £75 I'm happy with that.

Is there two 1GB models of this tab. What is the difference between this one and the following priced at £119.99
Specs seems the same in regards to resolution, RAM and processor speed. £84.99 one has a MT821 processor but the £119.99 has msm8909 processor.
Is the £119.99 a new model as slight wording differences between the two. The £84.99 says Lenovo Tab A10 and the £119.99 says Lenovo Tab 2 A10. If newer why the same specs?

what makes you think it's incompatible....? I just checked play store and it gives me the option to install on mine.
Does it install but not work or just not let you install?

It just won't find the app through the play store. If I find the app via chrome and click through to download, it tells me that my device is not compatible with this version and doesn't give me the option to proceed.
Thanks for this, a simple clearing of the play store data and clash was available to download, great stuff

I'm typing (swyping) this on my Lenovo Idea tab S6000 which is great for my usage. My previous Lenovo A2109 is a dog of a tablet that needs rest every other month as it just grinds to a halt.... it's very nicely built and the battery life is good but I've never figured out why it becomes such a slug...... Any ideas? It's needing reset again, so I'm all ears!
