Anyone know how much profit is in this for Lego? Or should I say what a daft price! Saw the house in NYC for much cheaper than here.
p.s. HEAT added as best price.

I really do want this. Why does it have to cost £150 :disappointed:
I'm glad they didn't stop making them at series 9 now, or this would be £300

at £150+, this is far from a "child's toy". Got to love the Simpsons

You bought it for a valentine's present?! If you are a girl I hope you et spoiled rotten in return, that's probably the best present I've heard of.
If you are a guy, pack your s**t, youre going to have to find somewhere else to live.

Lego has a profit margin of around 24%. HOWEVER sets like this it's going to be lower as so much of the profit goes to 20th century fox for using the simpsons brand.
Also don't forget it's the customer service you get with lego (free replacement missing parts etc) and the fact it's amazing quality. I don't care what anyone says, cheap lego is not the same, in fact I'd argue that the lego I have from when I was a child beats cheaper branded building blocks of today by miles.

£153 for plastic blocks ?
Everyone collects something, but £153 for some cheapo plastic with a ridiculous markup.
Voted Hot because thats the name of the game.
But £153  lololol

I'll never understand how an adult can have these Lego Toys sitting on the side in there house :/ not having a go, each to there own and all that, I just don't get it.

Hmm. I don't collect or display Lego personally, but I doubt adults who collect it consider it a "toy". You must own something quirky that symbolises something you are into. I don't understand how you don't get it to be honest

I personally get a little satisfaction in making something and then showing the hell out of it! Lego reminds me of when I was a child and the Simpsons is something my whole family appreciates so BOOM that's a whole lot of happiness from some expensive bits of plastic that I am more than happy to pay for...at a reduced price to take the edge off!

I bought a 1987 motor speedway set off ebay from my child hood, I let my kids play with it. Not happy about it though.

Well if I'm honest I've only gone mad for this stuff in the last year since my son was born, in the hope that one day he will come into my man cave, and want to play with the toy with me, it really would be dream city for that to happen.
I also buy the toy story signature collection and even bought a legacy megazord. I'm hooked.
