Wasn't sure whether to post this or not but this is currently the cheapest price for the upcoming Lego Star Wars game which honestly looks really amazing and will certainly last for hours on end. Plus, it has the usual story mode with comical references thrown in!

Yes, the mechanics are always roughly the same but the gameplay will be tailored to a Star Wars theme. Sure the target market is young kids but that's kinda the point. Parents can always buy a LEGO game with the assurance that there will never be anything offensive or derogatory. Plus you can fly around in the official LEGO Millennium Falcon..

I have played it yes. Many times, stick any Lego game in and youre effectively playing it bar the Star Wars skin.
Churning out the same old, like a factory. Its good stuff like, im just saying they are all the same.

Great if this is a day one game for you, but the Lego releases do eventually go down in price quite a lot. I'm hoping this is one of the better ones (I generally like them anyway).

Good launch price, but I'll wait for it for £4 on Steam (assuming that list only listed consoles)

You will be waiting a long time if it's anything like TCS or TCW.

I just wish they would still produce these games on legacy consoles (assuming they don't). My kids still enjoy playing on original wii (and today were playing gamecube games on it), but my son is star wars mad. Seems crazy to buy a new console just for one game. He's completed the other lego star wars games (although hasn't got all the red and gold bricks yet).

This game will be released on the following platforms:
Nintendo Wii U
Nintendo 3DS
PlayStation 3
PlayStation 4
PlayStation Vita
Xbox 360
Xbox One
They only really missed the Wii but the system's dead.

The WII U is worth it. It was so badly marketed as a fancy controller and is so under-rated due to lack of support. The games are fun and the experience as a whole In my opinion is better than the PS4 and Xbone which hardly get played anymore. All of the best games come out on the Wii U. Granted there aren't many of them but more than I can get through and nearly all of which with so much replayability. A WII U is a definitive upgrade on the WII and well worth it, it is also backwards compatible. However I will say if you are considering buying one, wait for the Nintendo NX anouncement like I am as it would be a shame to purchase a new console to find 6 months later the 'newer' console is also backwards compatible to the WII U; which I really hope it is. Gotta love Nintendo.

You played this one then stuartjohnwhitehead? Was thinking of getting for my son as he loves both Star Wars and Lego but if it's just a replica of Lego Batman, Lego Movie, Lego Harry Potter (which I thought were fun and different too) I may not bother and tell him he should play Batman again and pretend Batman is Rey or Finn.

Same could be said for Hyrule Warriors -- Just another lazy reskin of a Dynasty Warriors' game about the Zelda universe but actually, HW for example is one of the best Warriors' games out there and Lego's same-samey ones hold the same values too.
