Worth trying, especially if you live in hard water areas. It should soften the clothes up especially good fpr stoping towels feel like sandpaper.

Well, you learn something new every day. I've just googled fabric conditioner and found out that it goes in the second, smaller dispenser in the washing machine (I'd always wondered what that was for). It is to get rid of the residue of the washing detergent. We have never used it (my son and I) and our clothes seem nice and clean using washing powder or liquid, so do we need it or not? Do most people use fabric conditioner? Does it make any difference?
Perhaps I should just get a packet and try it, see if my son notices any difference?

Many thanks. Should we use that instead of washing powder? I'll google it to see what the difference is.
