KTC 500 ml coconut oil at £1.49 at lowestoft B&M. I would presume it's a national deal.

Ah that's the thing, when you cook with it, it doesn't give the taste. But you are very welcome anyway my dear.

It's fine, I read a few other threads. Amazon reviewers in the main seem to like it, and it's a well-known staple of Asian customers, so I'm not too concerned.
I'm not going to cook with it, though I don't like the idea of coconut-y tasting food anyway.

Darn, I bought this earlier thinking I was discovering the brave new world of coconut oil - then I read this thread. Oh well.

You can always use bad quality coconut oil as a make up remover or hair conditioner etc, lots of uses in the bathroom. If you need more ideas, message me, I make beauty products.

This is not organic. That's why it's cheap.

This is cheap because it has been refined. It's not raw so most of the benefits are lost in comparison to raw coconut oil.
It's cheap for a reason and this is cheap everywhere. Cold.

Also this KTC oil doesn't smell of coconut at all for some reason. Bought two pots for my my mum and they both just smell like oil. Go for another brand if I were you

After refining, it's deodorised

This isn't raw virgin oil. It's has been processed and doesn't hold the full benefits of raw virgin oil.

Also found this on the Web.
“KTC Coconut Oil is 100% pure, refined coconut oil. The oil is not hydrogenated in any way and hexane is not used in the refining process.”
Hope this helps.
