Excellent quality, practical, and nice looking garden box. Reserve & Collect available. While stocks last of course so my tip is not to dilly-dally on collection :)

Do you have the brown one as shown above, or the cream and green one?

Do all your pieces lock together, do the little circle push pins lock freely? Otherwise it will eventually fall apart. We found the plastic to be badly moulded, this was stopping the pieces locking together correctly. We have managed to make one using the two that we bought, with some help using self-tappers.

If you have the cream and green one, try closing the lid a few times, you will find the little black rods that attach the lid to the sides will snap instantly.

Lol, We bought two of the green and cream ones, they are not fit for purpose. Nothing lines up, all the plastic fixings snap and break, the plastic is very cheap and brittle. Never worth £50, let alone £15, I wouldn't even accept them if they were free. I now have to return them both back to store, what a waste of my time, such an inconvenience. :smirk:

I just put 1 of mine together, everything slotted in fine, took 10 mins. By far the easiest one I've put together. Great quality.

What a farce ordered 2 in a store 30 mins away. They called me to say they only had one so was I willing to travel 45 mins as another had two. I said yes. Got there at 7:45pm - they had 8 but all reserved by someone and sorry but "we forgot to phone u back". It was also too late to go to other store. After 15 mins of making a nuisance of myself the grumpy manager reluctantly agreed to let me have one and let the other store send them one in the morning. Still a long way for one but thought of a wasted trip really angered me and I let them know it. Thanks op been after one a while. Not worth full price but an absolute bargain at this price.

Thanks OP, there were some (seat style) in Aylesford until someone just bought 10 and loaded up their car with them, all ready for ebay.

Maybe the reason they're all out of stock is because Hot UK deals has an unfortunate side effect. "Here's a great deal, but unless you're nocturnal and at home base's door by 8am ready to buy 6 of them (greedy) you'll miss out..

I've just collected mine from the Catford branch - thank you OP! There were still 4 of the grey and green storage box showing as being in stock at the Battersea branch a couple of minutes ago.

They are NOT Argos, they do keep stock on their shelves. So, when they say they have 6 in stock, it doesn't mean that all 6 are in warehouse. You pop in and take one from the shelf, then some other customer do the same and before shop assistant make his way to "reserve" it for you, there might be none left.
Don't be paranoid about staff snapping out.

I'd like to think that taking stock that has been reserved by customers would be a sackable offence. Although it is an option, I'd like to think it wasn't staff.

Their 'million pound stock control systems' (SAP I believe) are only as good as the people inputting into them.
It's the damaged stock, which no-one wants to own up to, that causes the shortages, only apparent when the stock gets down to single figures.

Why ? So stores are saying in stock in good quantities and yet later customers are getting calls saying they don't have any left...so where have they all gone ?.Are their million pound stock control systems so poor? Answer no .A reserve only once paid may help as Argos are now heading .
I don't blame the staff who are probably only made aware of these bargains due to HUKD and earn minimum wage, but saying the missing stock has nothing to do with staff buying them is laughable .

I have one of these. Keep it just outside the back door to store overflow from Kitchen (beer, wine etc :-) ). Have had it for about five years and only recently the hinges broke. But cant complain for the price I paid.

Just ordered a new one from Wandsworth (London) store. 2 left in stock now

Been subjected to all the elements but has always remained watertight.

reserved one, five minutes later had a missed call, voicemail left saying unfortunately item not instock, if i ring back they can check other stores ( but online out of stock everywhere), then another 3 minutes late i get a text saying order is ready for collection. obviously staff keeping it for themselves

Thanks for that Have looked at that before when at £30. Reserved now but not hopeful!!! Homebase stock records are not the best. Been caught out more than once with the phone call to say "sorry we can't find it"!
