I've read a few reviews saying that it tips over, and you have to turn it off and on again to solve it. Not the biggest issue in the world though.

If it tips it loses suction and makes a strange noise. Turning it on and off does solve it but it still spits water out of the back. I had two and ended up getting a refund. I spoke to Karcher and they are aware of the problem but obviously majority of people don't use these to suck up a lot of water.

It has like a stopper thing inside that rises and covers the hole up when the tank gets full of water, if it falls over it will do it and it will get loud, turn it off and listen for it to drop back down and switch it back on.

Such a good vacuum. I have been using the previous model for a long time, it's so powerful and light we use it as our main vacuum and the dyson stays in the cupboard. Gets rid of dog hairs no problem and it's emptied a flooded cellar a few times. I dropped a lat+plaster ceiling last week, black dust and small bits of rubble everywhere cleaned it up easy. I recommend getting some compatible bags from ebay so you don't have to clean the filter too often. :smile:

Its not dust! its a disc near the filter that gets sucked up and acts as protection system to stop mess going everywhere when it falls over. When you put it upright, and turn it off, the disc falls back down again opening up the airway.

I own one and can confirm this is true. When it falls over the dust clogs the filter. Turning it off allows the dust too fall away from the filter. Still a hot deal though - I'd recommend it!

Hey, Karcher customer service is second to none. I have their window vac, which started leaking. Called them up, gave them the product serial number, and a photo of the reciept and the replacement product came within a week. With all the accessories in tow. I've still got my old one, which I was advised to dispose of, however the leak isn't THAT bad - so will keep it as a spare. Amazing company.

I thought attention-seeking posts were limited to facebook. Looks like they've now spread to hukd.
I couldn't recommend Karcher enough until I used a few of these. Unless just extremely unlucky the ones I owned spit water back out of the bucket as it is sucked up, as a regular hoover it was great.
