Just called about this - on their Facebook page but not on their website. They said its valid. Deal is 10,000 Miles / year, and includes Satnav Etc Etc. Worth a look....

Right, and if you get on the blower to any company and say the car you want and the price you would like to pay (assuming its reasonable) they are going play ball.
They just advertise these deals when really the prices are negotiable 24/7 - 365. I do fleet management for a living and I see these "deals" being post on here, but these are just day in day out life in the automotive sector.
I would suggest to anyone who wants a PCP deal or similar to get an idea of the prices being offered then get on the blower and see what you haggle.

Another Marmite car but I love its styling. Not driven one though. Seems a great price for a lot of kit, but I'm no expert.
I shall enjoy the spectacle of the leasing experts and second hand BMW owners fighting it out below.

You're kidding right? You expect a full tank, floor mats and some fuzzy dice as well?

Can you put your private plate on these lease cars?
why do they describe this as a 9+23 profile? is it just the deposit is the same financially as 9months rental? or do you actually get the car for 32 months....
brookysm to maddogb
2 Feb 16#14
No that refers to payment amounts, the lease is 24 months.
j3remy42 to maddogb
2 Feb 16#15
I noticed that you can reduce the deposit to 6x or 3x the monthly rental, in each instance the monthly rental is higher, so I too wonder if that means you are getting a discount for leasing it for a few months longer..?

You pay the equivalent of 32 months, but only have it for 24, basically.

That seems like a fair deal to me for a car that is at least a bit different to the usual box on wheels.

Colour really affects the styling, looks gopping in some colours, quite nice in others.

Strange comment to make when it's about as close to a box on wheels as you can get.

I saw one of these at the weekend in yellow and it looked like a poor mans hummer.
I also saw one today in a light mint green type colour. What is it with people's sense of colour choice, unless its cheaper on lease to get a crap colour!
Rickardo
2 Feb 16#30
No, the length of time you have the car remains the same. Think of it a bit like with insurance and the higher the excess you pay, the lower the monthly payments.

The "9" refers to the number of months' worth you must deposit. For example, your monthly payment is £124.79 so your deposit is £124.79x9=£1,123.11.
If you want to deposit less, you'll have to pay more monthly. One also needs to factor in that if you deposit less, your interest will generally be higher. Hence, a 9+23 deal will usually cost less overall than a 6+23 deal.

3 Feb 161#35
Yes- whilst I note you are using "deposit" as a verb, some people may assume it's returnable, which it isn't, hence "initial rental" is probably preferable.

had one for a week in Ibiza, they are OK for what they are, quite spacious probably the best feature, had a bit of character, don't expect it to be as nice inside as an x3 or even a qashquai or anything, but a Jeep can carry off being a bit rough and ready.

A X3 is about as far away from one of these as a Polo mint is to a sponge cake!

I test drove one and i'm not sure why people are saying spacious because apart from the top of the line model the inside felt very cramped and tacky. we ended up buying a new Tucson which drove so much better, and the milage on these isn't the best either.

These are based on the Fiat 500L, the new Tucson is a much better car.

I believe in the USA they start at a minimum of 160BHP (1.4T) and have two different axel options which greatly effect final drive. Although its the same shape, depending on the axel it will have a totally different driving experience.

Its actually the same as the 500x under the skin.

Absolutely; X3s are probably driven by a higher proportion of utter plums than any other SUV, Jeep drivers from my experience are amongst the more balanced of SUV drivers.
