They just did the same for me (£25 is without VAT, so it would be £30 inc vat). When I called to enquire, they claimed they have no way to check if I have the code on the confirmation email, so I need to take the confirmation email to an EE shop, and have a person there to confirm to another EE support person over the phone.
I have a bad feeling about this.

Why £25.00 not £30.00 or better still £15.00! it makes no sense.
I upgraded my data contract and they charged me after saying it was 3 months FREE, but it transpired I just owed some from the previous contract.
Can I ask is your 1 month rolling a new 'contract' or is it an upgrade?

Just a heads up to everybody to check there bill,i just checked mine and i have been charged £25 for this deal,so i phoned up to complain, the guy said they would phone me back within 72 hours, once he had spoke to his manager,i am still waiting on the phone call,i will wait till tomorrow before contacting them again.
As well as upgrading to 50GB for £30.00 on a monthly rolling contract.
You can get upgraded to 50GB for £25.00 if you sign up for a year.
The nice thing about this deal is it gets you on the ladder for future upgrades. EE never like loosing a customer.
Its also good to see data costs dropping.

the Glasto, Summer & Christmas sims were exceptional value at 5p a GB and good fun too following the posts.
I really hope they do offer it again but if any 'heavy user' wants 100GB the cheapest EE is offering is £42.00 a month over 24 months. or .42p a GB
100GB isn't unlimited but its a lot of data so if anyone were to cancel their BT landline it would be more £ a month.
I'm thinking more for a heavy user in a rural location near an double speed EE cell, it then becomes worthwhile.
The same EE business deal (100GB) is £100+ a month! for some crazy reason.
With you saying BT want people to cancel their landline and go the EE 4G route.
If that customer was with BT wouldn't that cannibalize BT's sales? cheers
pengwyn
20 Mar 16#436
I spoke to sales chat and they are saying the glasto sim isnt coming back. Obvoiusly he is a sales person trying to sell me the 25GB sim but this is exactly why BT should not have been allowed to buy EE. They have stopped this as it tempts people to canx their landline. will complain to ombudsman if it doesnt materialise.

It still seems to be ongoing BTW. So far I had 15GB for £15pm, so I'm switching. I'm wondering though, next year, how the "standard practice" annual RPI-rated price increase will go. It's usually for the base price, so if the increase is 1% for £20 discounted by £5, it will be £20.20 discounted by £5 (all per month). But now they clearly state *half price*, so the discount must raise as well!

If you have a dual sim phone, you could use this offer alongside another PAYG / Contract Sim to give you calls, texts and 25GB of Data.
For example, i've just been kicked off the one plan, so i'm going to use this EE offer to give me 25GB of Data for £15 a month in the Data sim position in the phone, and then use a PAYG Giff Gaff sim loaded monthly with a £5 Goody Bag for my calls and texts in the second sim position.
Total - £20 per month for both sims, which together will give me 25GB of Data ( all of which can be tethered if I choose) plus 100 mins and 300 texts. In the rare event I need more calls or texts I can just choose a higher Goody bag.
I tether a lot, so being able to use upto 25GB shared between the Mobile and external devices every month is a huge bonus, its more than double the pathetic 12GB tethering limit that Three now offer on its most expensive plans

I used a three PAYG data sim in a nokia asha 300, and I have just popped in an EE PAYG data sim in a samsung galaxy S3 the other day and the sims work brilliantly in them.
I recently upgraded to the 50GB for 24/Month offer and ever since upgrading my browsing speed is like dial up sometimes. I still get good speed results if downloading or speedtest.net but the actual browsing is painfully slow. It was totally fine before...Anyone any ideas before i phone them up?

deany76
6 Mar 16#381
Maybe I'm asking the wrong person.
Obviously my neighbour being disabled doesn't effect his broadband speed! it's the distance from the exchange that is the problem.
He lives in the countryside.
1/ My neighbour can't get broadband (due to above).
2/ My neighbour is disabled, so obviously would benefit from having broadband.
3/ He missed the £15 25GB deal.
Hope thats a better explanation, but no need to reply.
mrimac94
6 Mar 16#380
I'm not sure how your neighbour being disabled has any affect on his ability to receive broadband at his property...
I have no idea if the deal will be repeated soon. I do not work for EE.
He would be best to call them and see what they can offer. 25GB for £30 (standard price) is still a good price in comparison to other networks.

Still showing @ £30 per month. They said they'd sort it out same day. 2 days later still showing at £30.
Its a shame because the speed is fantastic and the coverage is great. My giffgaff sim got me 2MB download speed. This one, the minimum i've seen is 20MB and up to 40MB on occassions.

These people are a shower of useless ****
They've set me up at £30 a month
Their "web chat" team cant do anything about it
They gave me a phone number to ring and those people said i needed to phone the "web sales" team, but didnt have a number of them.
Apparently its "my fault" for looking at the website to get the deal and not ringing them, because apparently thats like buying off of the internet and then going in to the shop to get it sorted. Just like for example, Argos or M&S do. Oh hang on, you can do that with them.
So i'm now speaking to my fourth advisor. On hold at the minute where i'm being constantly reminded by a friendly voice how highly EE value customer service.

Right, I've just been on the phone to 150. Even though I put in direct debit details when I bought this sim my account was showing that I owed £15. Apparently the direct debit details don't always go through so I set it up again over the phone and the account now clearly states that they will collect the £15 direct debit.
I'd advise everyone to check their online accounts and verify that it clearly shows a direct debit is set up. Wouldn't want anyone missing the first bill and losing this discount.

Has it 'eck as like. Round here is rubbish. Frequently it's emergency calls only which can last all day and often days at a time. And don't expect to hook up to wifi and use 3 In Touch app. You can make calls out but incoming callers get message that phone is not available. If it wasn't for the old One Plan with unlimited tethering and free 3 to 3 calls, we'd be offsky. We couldn't even make use of the same price as home calls offer on holiday last year. Greece is not included.

My 25GB sim will go in one port and I have ordered the 1500 minutes and unlimited text (plus another 1GB data) sim for £6 as advertised on here to go into second port. So in al I will have 26GB data, 1500 minutes and unlimited text for £21. Still a very good deal.

I'll wait patiently for the Summer release!

The instructions are all in the opening post of that thread , see my footnotes about delaying data. You may have missed the deadline though. The only way to try is to top up with £10 and follow the instructions. The stop pack would only work on the new spare sim not the one your using.

Hi Guys
Yes you get the best deals from special retention team here in the uk, but if you miss their one call to you then you are sunk.
The normal retention team you are put through to when you request the pac code dont even know about the best deals they offer.
However if you have requested your pac code from them, then there are ways to get a call from this special team.
I was on unlimited/unlimited/6/8gb (cant remember exactly) for 10.99 month 12 month contract, need to get pac requested again. Had son and ma and pa on 500/500/4gb for 5.99 month rolling contract
Would be good for everyone to let it be known whats available and best deals on offer from them from special retention team.

Just wondering if anyone who ordered on Tuesday get their SIM yet.
Was there a 3 Month Now TV Entertainment Pass included, as looking on their site they have the below offer;
"Get any tablet, 4GEE WiFi or EE TV today and we’ll include a 3 month NOW TV Entertainment Pass, giving you access to addictive new shows and award-winning dramas on 13 pay TV channels, as well as over 250 Box Sets on demand.".
"Chose a pay monthly plan with 15GB a month or higher and you’ll get a 3 month NOW TV Entertainment Pass with more than enough data to follow your favourite heroes"
The SIM on offer here is 4G EE Wifi isn't it?
Or i wonder do you have to by a WIFI dongle and SIM to get the offer.

I agree but I think as it comes as a combi-SIM it shouldn't be an issue for most people. Experiences differ but we've always had the best experience with the original SIM bits (if absolutely necessary) as the fit is tight, adapters can be good but I've seen so many stuck now. Jamming a SIM tray is definitely not within manufacturer warranty!

My transaction wouldn't go through at 7:00 this morning. Came up with a message to say I needed to contact them regarding my order. When I rung them 10 mins ago after being on hold for about 5 mins they told me unfortunately the offer wouldn't be available as its been listed by a third party without the consent of EE management?
As an apology I got a 10% off code..

How weird. I ordered this at 13:35 today. The deal proceeded succesfully and got the message that asked me to phone them. I did and the guy at the end of the phone stated that as my order was successfully processed, they WOULD honour the deal and were waiting for more stock. I have to phone again tomorrow and ask about the stock. As far as I'm concerned it is a done deal and HOT. This will go great in my dual sim Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 which should arrive in about 10 days.

some people have cruddy home broadband, Up until upgrade 18 months ago, we could only get a speed of 1Mbs, 3 (on H+) managed 6mbs, hence for a few year before that I was on the One Plan. many are still in that boat.
Plus, Many people drive a lot, have and british radio is dreadful, so streaming googleplay/tunein radio/spotify is the only way to stay sane, couple to that data used by google nav (which blows any other nav out of the water) & you can quite easily get above the standard 4GB offerings.

Man, this I did not know! I had another couple that I hadn't uploaded the £10 or triggered in time as I still had one running. Thought they were useless, guess they are now!
On another note, I was very close to pulling the trigger on this then tried to go down the cancellation route of my SIMO phone contract. All offers with unlimited minutes/texts
1st offer £25.99 for 10Gb
2nd offer £21.99 for 10Gb
3rd offer £17.99 for 10Gb
4th offer £19.99 for 18Gb
5th offer £15.99 for 18Gb (I mentioned the BT £16 deal which he knew all about) - took this deal...
thisisian
10 Feb 16#180
You need to have added at least £10 credit & texted the trigger word (christmas150? i think?) within the offer period. Then the data bundle starts when you first use data. ...which can be months later.
I've been using them since november (rented house on 6 month contract, didn't want to tie in to long broadband contract), & they've worked brilliantly as a regular broadband substitute.

Been using the Osprey for a while now.. mainly as a backup device to my broadband as I work from home 90% of the time. And if Virgin fails me, which they have on more than one occasion over the past few months then I have that at least. I have it connected to router at the backup modem WAN link, if Virgin fails then it takes over seamlessly .. you'd have to physically check the Virgin hub to notice it was off/link broken.
Using the £20/m 15Gb rolling contract just for this reason... so this deal is a brilliant option for me to save £5/m and have more data :-)
To your original question. I needed it in an emergency.. Virgin failed me, could only get a tech out on Tues, I called on Friday bang on noon. Not acceptable, so headed down to PC world to see what dongles they had. The guy was showing me a 3G one for £19odd.. said, I defo need to go min 4G .. he's like 'Let me go chat with my manager and see if we can price match it.' .. I wasn't even pressing or asking for a discount. Comes back, done deal. £19 for the Osprey, then went thru sorting out which bundle I wanted then and there. ... Long story short, after having internet hard down from 12:00.. then still not on at 18:00, I did the trip, bought the device, came home at 19:30 and Virgin have sorted their **** out and internet is working! Aaargh!! ... Still, for me, worth the £20/m

Watch the Osprey 2 - which is what you're likely to get new these days. It will power down after a short period of non-use, and has to be restarted by pressing the power button. Really not helpful if you have it constantly powered and expect it to be ready for use when you need it. Osprey 1 doesn't suffer from the same problem.

As I say, works for me without issues. I'm guessing you mean for people who need to swap SIMs often. I don't, but when I've needed to, I'm all good.
And no need for that modem. I've a RT-AC68U router which supports dual WAN. So, normal Virgin media ethernet connection to it, then the Osprey 4G modem is plugged into it via USB. With both links up, I can pull one out and everything just continues to work fine.:smirk:

deany76
10 Feb 161#156
Well yes off course your right you should never use a resize a sim if possible.
But this was about if you had to (like I do) i.e. if you have different size sims that need swapping on occasion.
Using the original punch-out bits is NOT the best method as the entire put together sim can easily fall apart (I have first hand experience of this) and get stuck in the device.
If you are very careful use the tape (which like the film on the sim adapter) is ULTRA THIN - my method it best, but as you say using one correct sized sim is best.

You're more likely to damage the SIM pins using any kind of adapter than you are using the original punch-out bits (which will be flush with the smallest gaps) because an adapter is always thicker, so you definitely cannot just say your way is better - it's just your opinion. You shouldn't try and resize a SIM really at all, just get it SIM-swapped for the right size is the best advice.

Do they do any similar deals thats only 3G. I bought a mifi device for the xmas sims and it can only handle 3g, not 4g. Was suitable and adequate for the xmas sim since the cost of a 4g device didn't justify 2 months, i assumed, perhaps wrongly, nearly all deals would be 3g and 4g compatiable.

Depends on what you call middle of nowhere, if not in the scruffy noisy crime infested city centre/subburbs, yes. However, having access within 2 mins drive to 2 major motorways (10 mins more to a 3rd) & a major a-road, we're not exactly stranded.
I haven't found streaming problematic, particularly google play. DAB however, is still an under invested network with much area for failure, not to mention only having one station worth listening to (which gets irritating when they constantly play the same adverts) CD's, tapes, minidisc (cough!) all need changing or the repetition gets tedious. MP3's are what I'm streaming, but with a much higher availability of tracks than if I relied on a fixed device. & Streaming isn't expensive, if you're on the right plan.

The speed EE *say* is possible is 2+ years out of date and around 65% of the tier 2 masts with the
old Siemens equipment on them have been replaced by Huawei kit..
The dual channel mW has been amped on a lot of the 2015 ones that were not decommissioned to
compensate for the fact that a DC3 [dual channel three] mast is as quick as 4g on older EE setups..
4G+ is also in the same boat, the overhead speeds are far higher than the net value speeds, so
that is why some like dutton will get 80-90mb and faster on 4GEE DS and some will only get a
lower masked speed, not throttled, but the maximum the node will allow

If you got the 30 day rolling contract, just cancel and get this as a new sim, or phone up, quote the deal and ask if they can change it for you.
sdutton007
9 Feb 16#69
I'm guessing you live in the middle of nowhere based on that speed?
Also, you seem to have missed out on some useful inventions - e.g. the cassette tape, CDs, minidiscs, DAB, MP3s, etc. All of these can be used in a car to listen to music instead of relying on expensive & problematic streaming. And Google maps uses very little data.

no, cause they're nowhere near as good, particularly on traffic and my current plan has unlimited data, so I don't care how much I use.

Doubt Quidco will pay, because its a voucher code 'DATASIM15' from Moneysupermarket.com (another affiliate). Worth a try, maybe. http://www.moneysupermarket.com/vouchers/deals/4g-data-sim-50-off/463561/
But as said, it does appear (from online chat with EE) to be £15 off each subsequent month too, until you cancel, (30 day rolling), but as always check first, yourself, they were very quick to answer/confirm, as its not exactly clear from the t&c or checkout info, and as someone else said 'screen grab' the chat window, in case of problems.

I have a bad feeling about this.
They took this deal out on my recommendation.
I upgraded my data contract and they charged me after saying it was 3 months FREE, but it transpired I just owed some from the previous contract.
Can I ask is your 1 month rolling a new 'contract' or is it an upgrade?
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ee-25gb-data-sim-rolling-30-day-contract-15-2417493?p=27627968
You can get upgraded to 50GB for £25.00 if you sign up for a year.
The nice thing about this deal is it gets you on the ladder for future upgrades. EE never like loosing a customer.
Its also good to see data costs dropping.
If that customer was with BT wouldn't that cannibalize BT's sales? cheers

Do EE 4G double speed throttle customer speeds? as I have been getting 50MB+ for last 6 weeks. Now this week is has gradually dropped to 28MB, my neighbour was getting 47MB this morning. thanks
and to be fair to EE they even tried to **** this onto my existing data sim contract but they could not find a code to use
they then offered to kill my current 30 day data SIMO with no notice but meant turning it off immediately so worst case I have to pay for 2 sims for one month ....
still good deal and good service from EE
EliTom
Just use the direct debit option and there will be no further charges or costs
on this plan, it will also carry on to build your credit up as a new account and
after 4 payments you will be able to order over the phone with EE for a new
phone or PM contract, if anyone wants to
I'm okay its just for others

But what are data speeds like in the countryside?
If not, wait for another EE deal.
I have no idea if the deal will be repeated soon. I do not work for EE.
He would be best to call them and see what they can offer. 25GB for £30 (standard price) is still a good price in comparison to other networks.
I guess i'll have to wait and see what happens with the next bill.
I finally got through to someone who seemed to give a **** (fifth person i spoke to) and they said the discount hadnt been applied. They said they would get it credited and emailed the correct team to make that happen.
**** hateful ****.
Even though confirmation email says £15. will i get charged £30 or will amount be adjusted when payment is made ?
I'd advise everyone to check their online accounts and verify that it clearly shows a direct debit is set up. Wouldn't want anyone missing the first bill and losing this discount.
Was a toss up between this and the Vodafone deal but opted for his in end.
£12.50 Quidco tracked (although think this should be £30 but will follow up later)
Sim cancelled, account closed
It'll be pro-rata. It's probably normal.
Yes, it's called Tethering :]
Unless you mean the EE Sharer thing, in which case I don't think this applies.
"With EE you don't have to worry about surprised bills as there is a cap on data allowances, you can't go over your data allowances with EE"
A friend of mine who has the 25Gb for £15 per month 30 day rolling SIM has informed me, today, that he has been told in EE online chat that he can upgrade to 50Gb for £30 per month on a 30 day rolling basis if he wishes. He's considering doing it and has the email address of the agent he chatted to, so he's told me. Has anyone managed to do this?
Are you sure you weren't just roaming.
I placed an order on Saturday with the discount code which was accepted - yesterday you sent an email stating that to complete the order I needed phone you guys. Today I phoned and I was told that that of expired on the 9th after about a 10 minute wait having already spoken with the adviser he was going to put the order through for me. I've placed this order on the on the 13th, and it was accepted. So you've let me down big time on the second Sim EE
Could I transfer my number to this SIM, or does EE restrict that because it's supposed to be used in a non-phone device?
And if you ever see anyone talking about retentions offers; they're individual.
I had similar, in that I filled out the form and was asked to call to check a few details. I didn't bother, and received an email the next day saying my sim is on its way. Will see if it actually turns up!
There have been reports of the Christmas100 top up still working after 14 Jan deadline. The only way is top up your unused sim with £10 and try it but no guarantees now.
Got the sim now. Can I just set up a direct debit now with them?
Now I will have to see if iD will cancel a cancellation.

Thanks to this post I'll save even more.
It's online only and you can only get to it via this link and not the EE website directly. Strangely they know nothing about it when you try to speak to them.
If you have good 4g+ signal in your area it's a no brainer.
I got a second one for my iPad :-)
Wonder if any quidco etc, usually is for such deals.
Edit...looks like £12.50 Quidco.
Might well get this for my secondary phone, but do like the unlimited ness of my Three Sim.
Yes, you can pop this in a Mifi box and use it for whatever needs you've got. Should be able to pop in straight into most tablets too.
Using it in a phone, you might need to reconfigure your APN settings, and it'll be good to go ~
Its a very good deal, but I will stick with my 6monthweb (£20 for 1gb a month) on my old T Mobile Sim which is fine for a secondary device. (Just mentioning it here as alot of folk don't know its still available)
Thanks
Thx Gooner.
I'm with EE. Are my current 4G speeds at half the maximum?
The facts (as of 2013) - not sure if other netowrks have caught up.
I have an existing 15Gb/month for £10.22, but was told they can't "upgrade" me to this.
Had to faff around, so i have to give me 30 day notice on the current 15Gb one, which i did, and then i ordered this one online, but got the same email "call us", did, and was told it was out of stock when i called @ 2pm.
Let's see if i get it or not?
If not, i can always call in 2-3 weeks to remove the 30 day cancellation I've placed on my original 15Gb plan.
EE/BT in my area is absolute rubbish when it comes to coverage..!!!!!!!!!
had to call them up as they were struggling with the code but its on its way
I will make sure its all good and cancel my old sim.
.....but this time i'm not going to!
I'm going to sit back & see if they phone me / email me / dispatch the Sim. If it doesn't turn up within a couple of weeks, i'll make sure the direct debit isn't set up & forget about it.
If the answer is yes and you are getting a decent speed unreservedly YES with the http://www.hotukdeals.com/visit?hukdm=1650&d=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.uk%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB013P15G4K%3Fpsc%3D1%26redirect%3Dtrue%26ref_%3Doh_aui_search_detailpage . I get 50 MB DL v a possible 0.1 MB on landline - so 500 times faster!.
This router is very reliable only reboot once every 3 to 4 weeks on 100% of time. It takes a standard size sim.
Feel free to ask any more questions i.e. if you want reliable EE wi-fi throughout the house
ps
if you have iPhone do a 'field test mode' :
*3001#12345#* then under 'Serving Cell info' does it show 'Download bandwidth' 20 MHz? it may take a few minutes to appear, be patient, this proves though its 'double speed' you are getting if 20 MHZ appears.

COLD DEAL
As an apology I got a 10% off code..
I did so and they went through some details but was then informed that this was a mistake and could be offered - Was there anything else I would like? I said no and they cancelled my order.
had to call them up as they were struggling with the code but its on its way
I will make sure its all good and cancel my old sim.
.....I wonder what would have happened if i hadn't bothered calling?
had to call them up as they were struggling with the code but its on its way
I will make sure its all good and cancel my old sim.
Usually get through over 15GB in the first 3 weeks depending on how little little the OH has been putting out and how much I have to take matters into my own hands.
However you can get some portable routers which can take a USB dongle, but then again, you might as well buy a mifi.
Why do people need so many data / mobile internet and pay a premium price ?
Watching movie ? Well is not that better if you just download the movie when you get high speed fiber optic broadband connection at home and save it for future use ...
Plus, Many people drive a lot, have and british radio is dreadful, so streaming googleplay/tunein radio/spotify is the only way to stay sane, couple to that data used by google nav (which blows any other nav out of the water) & you can quite easily get above the standard 4GB offerings.
On another note, I was very close to pulling the trigger on this then tried to go down the cancellation route of my SIMO phone contract. All offers with unlimited minutes/texts
1st offer £25.99 for 10Gb
2nd offer £21.99 for 10Gb
3rd offer £17.99 for 10Gb
4th offer £19.99 for 18Gb
5th offer £15.99 for 18Gb (I mentioned the BT £16 deal which he knew all about) - took this deal...
I've been using them since november (rented house on 6 month contract, didn't want to tie in to long broadband contract), & they've worked brilliantly as a regular broadband substitute.
I'm not giving them bank and employment dates etc. because when I stop paying, they can just cancel the sim.
Is there a way of buying one of these but withholding the start of the contract / direct debit until my current sims expire?
(pretty sure the answer's no!)
Can anyone recommend a good device to use with it that will support double speed?

To your original question. I needed it in an emergency.. Virgin failed me, could only get a tech out on Tues, I called on Friday bang on noon. Aaargh!! ... Still, for me, worth the £20/m
cheers
Sometimes only a good old phone number will do!
And no need for that modem. I've a RT-AC68U router which supports dual WAN. So, normal Virgin media ethernet connection to it, then the Osprey 4G modem is plugged into it via USB. With both links up, I can pull one out and everything just continues to work fine.:smirk:
And you can make calls for free using apps like Aznog (weird name, but works quite well! Free to landlines and mobiles in 26 countries, including UK).
Sorry...
not for phone use
Take a look at @EE's Tweet: https://twitter.com/EE/status/697146168191688704?s=09
I only ask because the bank will contribute at least £5 if so.
I got 10GB and a tablet for £10 a month on EE
shame there isn't any minutes or texts included else it would be good to use for a phone
Exercise great care when modifying a sim card size AND adding removing the sim card from any device - sorry my method works best.

As long as it's unlocked.
Extremely good price too on double speed...
Thanks in advance
So basically the price will go up next month?
I get the feeling this means the price will go up the same as if you took out a long term contract at whatever cost and yet the price goes up!?

00.30p is the best price ever. It is actually what it should be anyway i.e.
£30.00 for 100GB over 12 months no line rental, job done everyone happy.
ps you can get 50GB for £27.50 over 12 months, really hoping BT will now lower data prices to match landlines.
So I'm going to take the risk, yes £15 for 25GB is good if its on going but I will play the game and see what happens in June when I ring back. its still a 30 day rolling contract so they know you can leave at anytime so want to keep you!
Are you sure its not £20.00 but £10.00 for first 3 months or something as 00.30p a GB is the cheapest I have ever come across. I guess you didn't ring 150
The main thing here is for anyone who is going to use this as their main internet connection 25GB really is not that much with streaming youtube, iplayer HD videos spotify GPM etc
Really 50 to 100GB is the UK average monthly use so 25GB not enough for many users.
Ps
I pay 00.55p per GB for 50GB EE standard double speed, but it is 12 month contract.
Cancelling my current Data Plan £20 for 15GB on EE. Then take this one out, bargain! Thanks!!!
Just need a good EE upgrade Phone plan now.
But seriously, most things are double the speed of BT Infinity.
only getting 30 on land line!
Also, you seem to have missed out on some useful inventions - e.g. the cassette tape, CDs, minidiscs, DAB, MP3s, etc. All of these can be used in a car to listen to music instead of relying on expensive & problematic streaming. And Google maps uses very little data.
Had to phone to confirm the order for some reason though.
Got this last week for at least 4 of our streetgb lot who needed "data only" and can 100% confirm
that as long as your DO NOT fail a payment or MISS a payment of £15 the tariff will be
25GB for £180 a year.. which if you do not compare it to the Summer 100gb x2 and the
Winter 100gb x2 sim offers, is the BEST speed data sim out there ;-)

But as said, it does appear (from online chat with EE) to be £15 off each subsequent month too, until you cancel, (30 day rolling), but as always check first, yourself, they were very quick to answer/confirm, as its not exactly clear from the t&c or checkout info, and as someone else said 'screen grab' the chat window, in case of problems.
No
Have they removed it?
I just got a phone call from a lady who gave me 18GB data, unlimited minutes and texts. For £16 a month (12 month).
The guys in retention were offering me worse than what I currently had. But I took this.
This deal is hot though.
+1
still works
