Remember playing this game when it came out in the early 90's , thought it was rather good at the time and at $1.49 seems a good price to pass a slow Saturday. Drm free and works on windows plus linux and apple os as well I think.
This is the updated version with digitised speech...

This was a true classic. I was one of the few people in uni halls with my own PC back in 1992/1993 and remember everyone having all-nighters in my room playing the 3 different routes through this game. Didn't realise that speech had been added to it since then.

Absolutely great game. One of my all time favourites; Lucasarts were amazing:
This! Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, Sam & Max.... so many unbelievable games..

The speech was added on the 1993 delux cd-rom version sadly Mr ford was unavaliable for the voice over and actor Doug Lee was used instead, aprantly theirs over 8000s lines of dialogue , i only had the floppy disc version so it was like a silent movie, this versions much better as has a indy sounding voice.

I had (and loved) the Amiga version too; it was about 11 disks if I remember correctly, and no second floppy drive for me!
Tempted to buy it for old times' sake, but as Magurdrac says, I know I'd never get round to playing it.

I'm fairly sure that what you're thinking of wouldn't be a legal route.

I'm one of the few people I know who really liked Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, but I still wish the 4th film has been based on this story instead, absolutely loved playing this game.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was a good film, except for the swinging through the ropes scene.

This game is unlockable in the Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings games on Nintendo Wii. The only reason worth owning that game lol.

Very special game. One of my first point and click and I can still remember it to this day. Great puzzles, story and sense of humour. Well worth picking up!

Was supposed to be the 4th film but never got made, this was supposedly based off the script.
Excellent game haven't played this in decades.

Played this a lot as a kid, but never completed it until the age of 24 because I couldn't figure out how to use the surveyor equipment properly in the ruins. Got there in the end.

TY OP (sarcastic or not i don't know yet) looks like today is going to be a "lets play emulator games all day" day lol. Quick google search and you can download this game for free, so currently the emulators are getting setup and then that's pandoras box opened!

Good price, although I paid £1.74 for it, plus The Last Crusade, Loom and The Dig when the LucasArts Adventure Pack was on sale on Steam at Christmas. This is by far the best of those games, I've just wanted to play Loom ever since that pirate in the Scumm bar in Monkey Island told me about it.
No, it's legally available for free - it's been abandonware for quite some time. You just have to set it up in SCUMMVM yourself.
Not as good as a hard drive though. :stuck_out_tongue:

The problem is, abandonware is *not* legal - it's at best a grey area in that it's that's just unlikely to see enforcement action in most cases.
Even if it were, the fact that this listing exists demonstrates that the game cannot, by definition, be considered "abandonware" - which is software that is no longer available for commercial sale.
Steal the game if you must (though I'd really prefer that you didn't), but please don't encourage others to do the same.

This is worth way more than £1.09. Simply brilliant game. I wish they made these type of games again. Maybe we should petition for an HD remastered version like the Monkey Island games?
There's a remastered version of Grim Fandango which is a very decent game in this genre. You can run it with the remastered graphics or with the original graphics and 16:9 verses 4:3 aspect ratio, it's all in the in game settings. Well worth a go if you like this genre of game.

This is the first ever game I completed. Before that I'd played many many ZX Spectrum and Atari ST games and never fully completed any of them, so I thought I was the boss at the time when I completed it.

And let's not forget the aliens, a grumpy Ford who should've died in the first two minutes of the film (Yay lead lined fridges, urghh) and a typically yappy LeBeouf. It felt like Brett Ratner doing Indy.
