I had some flat pack where the boxes were too heavy to carry upstairs on my own...so I opened then downstairs and carried the bits up one at a time....
May be cheap but don't last very long. This is the price they always are so not a deal really. I would advise spending a little more and getting better quality ones from ikea...or wherever.

That's the normal price. Had mine almost a year now and is fine. Will need to move it across the room later this week, hope it stays in one piece.

I've had mine for 2/3 years, no complaints it's held up very well. It easily fit in the back of my hatchback with the rear seats down.

May fit in the car but, me and my partner couldnt lift it onto the trolley :disappointed:. One box is 34kg and the other 42kg. We went all the way to get these a while back and ended up coming away empty handed. If we had got them on the trolley, couldnt have got them up the stairs to our flat anyway.
Shame as I bet it would have been better quality than the wardrobes we did get in the end.

unless your username is also your age i'm not sure why you 2 couldn't lift them together. 42kg divided by 2 = 21kg if you both lift together. That isn't that heavy at all. I have 1 of wardrobes btw, wasn't that heavy to carry between the 2 of us.

Cos I'm not very strong :disappointed:. I know my partner can lift 15kg by herself, cos she did when we got a desk last week, I.......didnt attempt to :S. I maybe could have but, it was easier for my partner to do so, so yes I let the side down by not being able to lift 21kg but, that was my point, not everyone will be able to manage it. Maybe if someone else had been there to help my partner they could have managed it but, not me.

At my store, the staff were happy to help. Maybe it's worth asking next time, too many good deals to miss out on!

Don't forget to swipe your Ikea card when buying furniture, in that case you'll be automatically covered against any damage during transportation or assembly.

Have one of these - had to install my own magnet catches to keep the doors shut but other than that, they're fine.

Bought mine back in 2010 and they are still going strong. Raised the existing clothes rail up a bit to install a second clothes rail below it (suits and jackets up top, shirts below). Put a mirror on the inside door and a couple of drawers in the divided section. For the price, I don't think it can be faulted as a wardrobe.
I will agree that it is bloody heavy to lift up three flights of stairs. Genius idea to open it up downstairs and carry up the pieces.
