Just been into my local Iceland and they finished the deal y.day because they ran out of the wine!I truly think they shouldve offered the chocolates in replace of the wine;really dissapointed.

The prosecco is dry as a bone, the bubbles are okay, but no staying power. This is not a live wine.
The king prawns in the linguine are juicy and impressive in size. The linguine itself though is clumpy and needs raking through to avoid dollopness. The wine sauce with lemon oil pleased me, but the sharpness may not be to everyone's taste.
Haven't tried the desserts or starters yet.
Would recommend, but not as a celebratory meal, but more of a I'm tired and do not want to do any cooking this evening meal.

This looks great! I've had a few of the new Iceland luxury meals and they are really nice. It's really convenient not having to worry about short best before dates either

Picked one up today. All presented together in an aisle end freezer cabinet with the two Prosecco's above.
Even better the total cost was actually £9.66 rather than £10.00 as the meal deal discount given was the price of the Prosecco ie £6.79 off.
Bottle = La Gioiosa Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut 75cl 11% vol - barcode 8006805399013
ie £10 on its own at Morrisons per mySupermarket
Though I think the OP is confused re Waitrose selling the Prosecco at £13.49 as the Waitrose site shows a Prosecco from that brand but "Superiore Valdobbiadene" rather than Treviso [not Superior].
There was also a pink/Rose alternative version of the Prosecco in the deal

If a bloke 'treated' me to a meal from Iceland, it's likely his body would be found in a freezer the day after.

the prosecco is a good deal and not everyone can afford a more expensive meal. at least there is this option for some! it's the thought that counts, isn't it? geesh! some of these comments are a bit harsh!

Selection looks poor - M&S for £20 looks much, much better!

If you go for the soufflé, cottage pie, chocolate puds and prosecco that's more than 2000 calories each

Can you have a 3 litre bokkle of frosty jacks instead? Also if you spend over £25 I think you can have it delivered which will save you from getting changed out of your robe and PJs and walking all the way there and back in the rain.

Poor choice and no vegetarian option for main.

I'm always amazed they dont include decent vegetarian options. You'd think it would be in their interest as non-meat ingredients tend to cost a lot less.
