Yes but the black ones are only 1600MHz CL10 so not as good of a deal.

I was amazed to find that the spd of these sticks is 889Mhz instead of the usual 666 or 800Mhz, really good for the 2011 MB's with a suitable cpu and easier to O.C.(2011 only). Good thing is that automatically will set up at 1866Mhz

Yeah just building an old 1150 rig as I got an i7-4790 for 170 (rather than paying 270 for the i7-6600 which has slightly worse performance). 1150 only takes DDR3, and I have some laying around from an old rig. Upcycling as much as I can and selling all the rest

Is is worth upgrading from bog-standard, unbranded, 8GB 1600Mhz in my current system to this?
Current system is an AMD A8 6600k, geforce 750Ti, and is used for some light steam gaming (BO3, Far Cry etc.). Am I likely to see a noticeable difference?
