I bought two of these the last time on HUKD and they still look like new.

Easy to fit, just drill two holes, plug and screw fixings through back plate and then fit front perspex with top bolts.

It really does help! If you have ever worked a job that requires you visit peoples properties in any way, those who don't display numbers are a scourge.

Not all house numbers appear in sequence, random numbers can be skipped for no apparent reason, one road can have multiple streets on, houses on corners may not be on the street name they appear to be on, some roads are odds/evens and some are sequential... I could go on. If I can't be 100% sure that I'm going to the correct address then I'm not going to bother wasting my time. I've seen a road with 10 houses on one side of the street and only one of them had a number, if people think I'm going to walk up and down the street working out what number is what then they are in for disappointment.

People with no numbers do have more misdeliveries, it causes misdeliveries for their neighbors, it causes delays they may not be aware of. It really does make it more difficult deliveries and services to find you, the people looking for your address may be under pressure. I've seen plenty of ambulances (unfortunately) over the last few years, and they do look at house numbers.

Pretty stupid not having a number on your house imo.

But why deliberately make harder for people? Not having a number on your house is plain arrogant and stupid... although its marginally better than those pretentious people who call their house a name but are too tight to register it!!

i just ordered 1 , my door is on the side so great to put this on front wall cos evry1 has trouble finding the right house , heat from me x.

yea i do get why people have house numbers, but to be fair the ambulance found our house really easy last year and our house is well known to the police and emergency services, not for bad reasons got a lot of friends in high places

Yes, do get one to make sure that your house number is clearly displayed. It does make it easier for deliveries and reduces the risk of incorrect delivery.

More importantly, if you ever need the emergency services, having a clearly displayed number can help save valuable time because they don't have to hunt for the right house.

Got one of these a couple of years back from Amazon for a similar price and pretty decent, easy to install (just screwed to wall by the front door, obviously a little drilling involved) and it still looks good now, well worth the money :smiley:

​Don't count on it, just checked Google maps and it doesn't exist.

Bought one of these the last time they were on here and it's still looks fine, no weathering etc...

Also, be aware that these come with a blue protective film on that you need to remove. I know that sounds like a numpty tip but believe me, there were complaints on Amazon that it wasn't as described as it had a blue tinge ....

I used UK Sign Shop and the service was excellent. The sign itself is lovely and mounts using two screws. It took me longer to drill the holes that mount it. :smiley:
