Looks like the £40 code was for the full price of £249.99 to bring down the price to £209.99

Today the price dropped to £209.99 but the code wasn't pulled in time.

They pulled it as soon as they realised the mistake.

It will be interesting to see if they 'honor' the orders at £169.99.

Bargin of a price worth the extra 20 over the p8 if you want a finger print reader and ir blaster and better battrey go for this. Have this phone myself choose it over the lg g4 when I had both due to build quality and fingerprint sensor and good battrey life. I bought it at time of launch and been working fine.

Fingerprint scanner is not a deal breaker as I have an android wear watch, and so keeps it unlocked. I did like my IR blaster in the HTC ONE though... Argh decisions!

I do too but for some reason android wear doesn't work with huwaei emotion ui so i still need to use fingerprint. But after using a phone with it I cannot go back to one without. It's so fast my finger goes there when I take the phone out of my pocket and unlocks the phone

Unless you're feeling really brave - if you like pulling sim cards apart, you can butcher a sim, stick it onto a micro sd card, and get a working 2 sims plus additional storage solution.

So confused right now.......I like the fact this has a fingerprint scanner and ir blaster.

Probably not worth the extra. You get a slightly faster processor, bigger battery, thicker, heavier phone, thumb scanner, IR, similar battery life but faster charging, more megapixels/bigger sensor and slightly better 1080 video quality.

The P8 has optical stabilization but from what I've seen it just causes that Youtube-style warping effect on the corners of the video.

Worth £15 more? Probably, but not worth £55 more.
