Give Nova launcher a try. It might be the emui thats causing it to lag.
sorry but Screen is 5.5 so it is not any bigger. in fact buttons reduces your usable viewable screen down. in terms of the actual handset it is not actually smaller at all. I guess taste is difference but technically less us not always more

I went ahead and ordered one yesterday in the sale - thanks. Is there a decent screen protector for this? And a case?

I hate the fact navigation buttons built in to the screen and not hw capacitive separate buttons. Steals from screen and gets in the way. I ll have redmi note 3 over this..this phone should be around this price range anyhow.

you get what you pay. basicly, huawei is a bit more better.

There's a way to hide the buttons. It is in the settings somewhere. I've done it on my Honor 6. You can simply slide it back up when needed.
It is the button on the far left.

I'm the opposite. much prefer them on the screen to allow the screen to be big without taking up space on the bottom bezel. I only need the larger screen real estate when watching videos and that's when the buttons hide. I'm a nexus guy

I would actually say no you wouldn't, not without losing significant portion of it, I would say at least 50% and even then with issues, even though being 2*40£ vouchers helps a bit.
Problem is that none of the main voucher selling sites even lists them and I haven't even heard a gameloft store existed (so I will generalise) that many others don't.
Also if you look at the prices they are not better than Google play (even worse in couple of cases) and why would anyone want to own it there instead of Google play escapes me. (I might be wrong or misguided or even misinformed but I am describing a general opinion).
All this leads to a conclusion that I would be surprised if you got 40£ for both of them.
The vr headset is just a slightly more fancy Google cardboard, it lacks any of the Samsung vr features which would make it an improvement, you can find better ones (plastic if it matters) for about 10£ on fleabay.
Personally I would go with Amazon.

Anyone know how apn settings work on a dual sim? Do you get two sets of settings ie one per sim?
sivi to NargUk
23 Feb 16#26
yes, you can set different apn for each sim.

Does anyone know if the dual sim functionality on this is always on? i.e. can you receive calls from both sims all of the time? Or do you have to select an active sim?

Yes it does

If you talking with someone you will not able to receive sms or phone calls from another sim card until you hang up.

If you get this from the Vmall then you will get free VR glasses worth £129.99.
From the email they sent me:
Experience the World of Virtual Reality and save up to £129.99!
Buy the Honor 7 or the Honor 5X and get free Virtual Reality Glasses* + £20 extra discount (only for Honor 7) + Gameloft Vouchers (2 × £39.99).
Thanks for this. Would I be able to sell the gameloft vouchers?

Way better than the honour 7 purely because it has a snapdragon chip, so you can rid the phone of the broken Huawei software.
The software is actually really nice to use, just too many bugs, although the 5x is notably more stable than the 7 when it comes to stock software.

Wish I'd known about this before I ordered the silver yesterday. I think this colour looks better. Heat from me.

What's the best equivalent phone but with a 5 inch screen or less? 5.5 is just too big for me.

Probably the Xiaomi Redmi 3. Similar specs and sells for about £110 from the Chinese resellers.
