The black ones seem to be £45 (49 -10%) but if you look at the coloured ones you can get an even cheaper deal. 44.99 less 10% (10% taken off when you buy)
These are pretty good for what they are. I've had 2, both ok. A cheap satnav if nothing else.

I've tried a tablet as a Sat Nav and to be honest a phone is much better as the screen is smaller and not in your way when driving. I've only had it mounted from the windscreen though so it obscured some of the screen. I guess you could mount it lower on the dash but then it would be in the way of air vents etc.

We got a TV and a couple of tablets last year, one tablet looked superb but failed to hold charge when turned off, other had some nice gouges in the screen, TV's backlight was a lovely shade of green, I would suggest the refurb part is **** and they are in fact "couldn't be bothered to check it and shoved it back in box" they probably don't sell many with that descriptor though.
Returns department were very helpful however, so the only thing wasted was time.

Had 3 Lenovo tablets from Argos EBay all in good like new condition but had a WiFi problem with one of them and had to send it back for repair , its taken 7 weeks so far and still waiting as Argos are not allowed to fix Lenovo products and so they have to be sent to Germany for repair.

Surely Lenovo themselves should be repairing it rather than Argos? I'd certainly have more confidence if that was the case

Thanks, I bought one around Christmas time for a higher price, was impressed with it, so I'll buy again for another family member now.

Mine hasn't updated to 5, do you just wait or can you force it?

Looked on Lenovo's web site and it said 5 wasn't available for mine yet.
It may depend on your specific model number

I would have hoped so but :
Thank you for your email. Unfortunately we are not authorised to repair Lenovo units here so it has to go away to the manufacturer in order to be repaired which is based in Germany. Because this is a different country, they have extended the turnaround to 30 days - Argos head offices are aware of this. I can confirm the unit was sent 06/01/16.
I understand how frustrating this may be and we are all working together in order for the repair to be processed as quickly as possible. What I am going to do is contact the manufacturer for an update and as soon as we have a response I can assure you that you will be informed.
I hope this has been helpful and if you have any queries please don't hesitate to contact us back on the details provided below and we will be more than happy to help.

Yes but they'd rather publically complain about it, damaging their reputation, instead of giving them the opportunity to resolve the problem.

I'm using one right now! Bought for £49.99 in November. Only problem was the charger sent with it but they were fast to replace
