Got one of these and screen is poor and it's stuttery/laggy
Thought this was full HD one. I know see it isn't but still stands

The aspect ratio is not ideal for me personally. This tablet is 16:10, but I prefer the more square-ish 4:3 which I feel is better for reading and browsing the web.

The deal description is totally wrong and misleading and needs to be expired or corrected.
This is NOT the 2GB ram or the full HD model.

Even though this is not the 2GB Tab 2 A10-70 for £109 you would struggle to find anything better. They are well built, have good support, excellent battery life and not slow for general use. I vote this hot.

Unfortunately family members picked one up and it's now in use, so I can confirm that it is the A10-30 with 1Gb RAM, was hoping that the description was wrong, never mind.
All of the photos on the Argos page appear to match what we received.

Reserved one at my local argos seeing this post. Luckily I asked to see it before paying. It is the lower spec one with 1GB RAM and lesser resolution.

This is not the Tab 2 a10-70 which has a 1080p screen. It is the A10-30 which is essentially an older model with only a 1280x800 screen resolution.
It's a perfectly decent tablet, but it simply is not the same one you link to at John Lewis.

What are the chances of tesco, JL etc reducing the price of the 2GB model back down to the £119 price again?
A freind of mine wants a tablet and ive been looking around on the HUKD site and these Lenovo ones seem to be the best ones going, is that correct?
I advised him to go for the following specs:
Android (or maybe even the dual ones with Windows and Android?)
USB connectivity
10 inch screen
Good battery life
2GB RAM
32 GB storage
External SD memory card slot
HDMI connection (if possible but not essential)
Decent front/back camera
Can anybody of the tech savy people on here offer me some advise on which one is good to go for and for the best price please?
Thanks

got jl to price match to £119 a few weeks ago from £149 as wanted the 2 year warranty ... now £179 ! glad I did!. the link is the 1gb model not the 2gb. cold I'm afraid...

Yes it does, but Argos seemed to have really messed the listing up, if you look at all the pictures in the Argos listing and look at the back of the tablet some have the back camera to one side (1 GBP model) and some with the camera in the centre (2 GBP model). Tesco Direct have the 2 GBP model for £119.

According to what? The link provided by the op takes you to the 1GB ram model on Argos with a lesser processor and poorer cameras

Cold from me. You can get the better spec model which has reached scorching heat for only a tenner more up to a day or so ago but looks like Tesco, JL and Very have put their prices back up which is ridiculous. Who is going to buy at £179.99

This isn't the 2GB model. That one is still £179.99 at Argos

The picture is correct, but the description is not. I bought two white ones from Tesco Direct a couple of weeks ago for £119 and thought that was a bargain. Personally I would buy it, if it's not the Tab 2 with 2GB of Ram, just return it, it would be their problem for not having a matching picture and description.

Argos state this is only 1gb RAM? What is the true memory of this?
