I don't tend to shop at the co-op but their £5 deals are a great deal. I bought a deal of theirs before for £5 and had about £11 worth of food

These co op frozen deals are a steal. Don't usually do frozen pizza , but these are pretty good !!! Heat added !!

The pizza is £2.50 in sainsbury's, £1 each for garlic bread and wedges, ice cream £2.47 in asda. So all in all approx £2 saving. Deal

I'm sure I could beat most of the deals of this type on here if I went round to every supermarket and waited for deals. That's abit much for me though and I'm sure alot of people. Plus its still a saving to get this deal.

Excellent input there edinburgher, as I'm sure most people didn't know pizza, potatoes and bread contained carbs.

Not impressed anymore they've switched the wedges for cheap co-op ones instead of mccains and the ice cream sounds awful would rather it was the carte do'r the last pizza deal was much better, wont be buying this one :disappointed:

Why do people come on and post such negative comments ??? Jeezo.....scroll past if you don't fancy the deal!
We don't need to be told about carbs or about others individual palette dislikes.

When the Co-op are calling it a "meal deal" they really should make it rather more balanced and healthy.
It's a lot of frozen food for the money. Voted hot.
Hurby
9 Feb 161#40
The meals are all frozen and can keep in the freezer so you are not obliged to eat them at once if you fear too many carbs. It is an excellent deal and I only hope the Co-Op carry on doing it. The sales assistant at my local Co-Op told me that they change it every Tuesday evening at around 10pm.

9 Feb 161#43
Of course it's STUPID unless they're next door to each other it'll cost you more in fuel than you'll save, it's the most stupid argument I've ever seen on here!
brilly
9 Feb 161#44
oh... does everyone drive? does everyone live in the sticks with one shop?
what about the brand match guarantees which automatically lower your bill to those levels?
WARNER107
9 Feb 16#45
Brand match requires a minimum number of items to be purchased. It then compares the TOTAL price of ALL branded goods in your basket. If one item is cheaper and the others are dearer you won't get a refund.

9 Feb 16#46
Ah well, may need a bit of planning then :stuck_out_tongue:
