It is a hell of a lot of sugar but can easily be used instead of regular sugar and honey in everyday cooking, hot and cold drinks, porridge, smoothies, on your pancakes, in baking etc. The list is pretty endless, but if you don't want to use it yourself then please donate them to your local food banks...

Just a tip re WHERE in my medium size Waitrose the products were (or weren't as OOS):
Lyle's Blueberry Syrup (370g) £1.17 with the Maple syrups in the desserts/puddings cans area with "Maple syrups"
Lyle's Golden Syrup Maple Flavour (340g) £1.50 in the Jams/Marmalades/Honeys area [NOT with Maples]
and where you'd expect, ie in the "Sugars" area...
Tate & Lyle Organic Agave Nectar (310g) £2.50
Tate & Lyle Icing Sugar Sprinkle (500g) £1.99 [ie with the other Icing Sugar boxes/packs but OOS]
Tate & Lyle White Sugar & Stevia Blend (500g) £1.50 [OOS]
Tate & Lyle Brown Sugar & Stevia Blend (500g) £1.70
Obviously MAY be different in your Waitrose store [the front-desk should be able to locate on their system + where they are shelved, that's how I found the Maple with the Jams NOT Maples where the Blueberry was!]:
All 6 offers are still live today 9/2 so you can buy today & expect £back, but as already noted deadline is now 10/2 at the very latest, and may yet be shortened again so if buying tomorrow do check the App/site to ensure offer still there!

This has now expired but a tip if a similar offer comes up in future... If you have a MyWaitrose card, in addition to a free coffee, if you spend £5+ (£10+ at weekend) you can get a free newspaper too: Mail, Guardian, Telegraph or Times. If you have other family members with their own MyWaitrose cards you can get a free paper with each transaction.

Btw the price of the free coffee and paper are included in the £5/£10 minimum spent, so really you need to spend less than £2/£6 depending on which paper and coffee you pick. If you are not in the mood for coffee it's still worth using the self service tills to pick the regular cappuccino (as I think that's the dearest option at £2.15) and then not bother about getting a cup

Not for Checkoutsmart, but you can for ClickSnap, which is part of Quidco, accessible through its website. Mk-Donald on this site has put together a very useful guide which is invaluable for beginners to cashback sites! See comment #53 on this thread for the link and read through it. There's also another website called Topcashback which has some grocery cashback on there. Again, read mk-donald's guide. Hope this helps!

It's a shame they've changed the date to tonight. If your order goes through tonight and your receipt has today's date on it then you will have 6-7days to upload your receipt without any issues. But if your receipt is dated the 10th then you will not get your cash back unfortunately...

Best thing to do would be to contact them and ask them as I'm not sure how the delivery system with regards to dates on receipts works. I bought the Yorkshire Puddings the other day only to get home and see it had disappeared from my app. One quick e-mail to CheckoutSmart customer services and they let me get the money back anyway. They just got me to upload the receipt via the £100 prize draw bit and then verified it for the extra £1.50. Worth trying if you think you've missed an offer. And funnily enough the free Yorkshire's appeared back on my app yesterday again, although think it's changed to 35p cashback today.

9 Feb 161#124

9 Feb 161#117
For some peverse reason it actually differs between the different systems for when you can submit a dated receipt to claim offers available on that date:
CheckoutSmart App - today & previous 6 days - ie you can submit a receipt over 7 days from today back -6 days
so today Tue 9/2 can submit from Wed 3/2 to Tue 9/2
Quidco ClickSnap - today & previous 7 days - ie you can submit a receipt over 8 days from today back -7 days
so today Tue 9/2 you can submit from Tue 2/2 to Tue 9/2
Meanwhile TopcashBack Snap & Save, where some of their offers are from the "CheckoutSmart Network", receipts must be submitted to a different timetable altogether - ie bought & uploaded during the period of the offer - so for instance if you have the Free deli Fire & Smoke turkey slices at Tesco Valid 3/2 to 9/2 you have to buy between 3/2 and 9/2 and upload the receipt by the close of 9/2 [today!] Guess what - my Tesco was OOS yet again today :disappointed:
As some have already mentioned - if your tooth isn't sweet enough to exploit all the in-stock offers for yourself, do consider that Waitrose stores usually have a Food Bank collection box after the tills.

KiKai to Mcgrar
9 Feb 16#114
No that will be midnight tomorrow not unless they decide to bring the end date forward like this morning. If your food is delivered tomorrow but it has been processed today and your receipt shows the 9th then you will be okay to claim your cash back as you have 7 days from the date of purchase to upload your receipts. If the offers are still showing in the app tomorrow then a receipt dated the 10th will also be accepted...

The original Yorkshire Puddings offer ended on the 5th and was available from most Supermarkets. I put the Morrisons offer in the post as they were the cheapest and if you uploaded your receipt to CS then you would've got 50p Profit as they were paying £1.50 cash back. Generally all members get the same offers unless it says 'Exclusive to you' in your app. Then it may not be available to everyone...

Some thoughts/ideas to help people with these generous sugar/calorie offers (specifically from the perspective of in-store purchases at Waitrose rather than online at Ocado.com/Waitrose.com)
1. If the offers appear on both your Quidco ClickSnap (QCS) and CheckoutSmart (CoS) accounts then you MAY claim on both accounts but ONLY on separate receipts - ie you need to make two baskets of purchases at the checkout in store, one receipt with the product(s) you want to claim on QCS and another receipt for claiming on CoS.
2. While the offers are listed as from Mon 8/2 to Fri 12/2 - do check on the day you plan to buy the products to check the offer is still listed on the relevant QCS/CoS App/site as "this is a limited offer, be quick before they're all gone". In the past purchases made on the last DAY that the offer appeared were honoured, but it's likely the offers won't last until Friday 12/2!
*As CoS have emailed probably their entire account base it's likely these offers will be taken up quickly - ie obviously the offers are available today 8/2, hopefully lasts to at least tomorrow 9/2 but we don't know...*
3. If you're only going to buy the product(s) once then usually best to claim on QCS as... Claim £back on the Quidco ClickSnap site : all 6 = £11.14 ie 78p gained as blueberry & maple products are 25% off at Waitrose until 16/2 - ie only £10.36 bill at till
- Lyle's squeezy blueberry syrup £1.17 paid instead of £1.45 rewarded on QCS
- Lyle's golden syrup maple flavour £1.50 paid instead of £2.00 rewarded on QCS
and plus 1p if you enter this week's prize draw
And you also get bonus on QCS as any £ goes into your general Quidco a/c balance and can be withdrawn (with potential bonus % eg for Amazon gift code) any time you like.
4. Claim £back on CheckoutSmart App and get WHAT YOU PAID as it's "free" + 1p if you enter prize draw.
You have to save up £20+ with them before you can withdraw your cashback intact, otherwise you lose 5% 'transfer fee' to get it paid out.
If you don't often get CoS £back then in an effort to get over that £20 threshold for 100% payout then might be worth to claim some of the offers on CoS to get your a/c balance up.
5. It's possible that the TopcashBack Snap & Save (S&S) site MAY also add some of these offers to their site, perhaps at midnight as S&S has recently started featuring "CoS network" offers alongside their own. If that happened then it means that you could potentially buy product(s) THREE times but on THREE separate receipts using one receipt for site - QCS + CoS + S&S.
And don`t forget your free newspaper as you`ll be spending more than £5.....:stuck_out_tongue:

Read it, got bored with it, heard it all before. No one is going to use so much sugar in a short time but most of us are sick of being lectured to by smug sanctimonious t**ts. This is a great offer and many of us will probably donate some to food banks so go and eat your mung beans and enjoy them.

That's about 10,500 calories roughly. Those aren't any normal cals either. That's a lot of fructose. That's dangerously addictive stuff and it stores as visceral fat and screws with your insulin and blood levels. Do not feed your kids that bile. See the studies about how it changes your kid's fat cells as they're maturing. It's abuse.
I don't care if it's all free, I would not want all that sitting in my house. I wouldn't use that much sugar in two years.
But sure, feel free to dismiss science as sanctimony to make yourself feel better.
So I do hope you will stop eating fruit and products with glucose in them.
As with everything, a little does no harm. A lot in one go does you bad.
So whats your view on Salt and fat? These were the previous promoted bandwagons by social media and health (?) sections in newspapers and magazines.

If you don't want all this sugar for yourself then you could donate it to your local food bank instead...

That's a lot of sugar!
Can anyone list what each product can be used for because half the items I wouldn't have a clue, and I'm sure I'm not the only one here wondering...

8 Feb 167#17
It is a hell of a lot of sugar but can easily be used instead of regular sugar and honey in everyday cooking, hot and cold drinks, porridge, smoothies, on your pancakes, in baking etc. The list is pretty endless, but if you don't want to use it yourself then please donate them to your local food banks...

OH THE IRONY

Careful when picking up 500g white sugar as the packet looks very similar to the baking sugar which is not in this list!
Oh no, I don't take sugar. :stuck_out_tongue:
51p 'profit' on the Maple syrup put through clicksnap
another slice 65p put through clicksnap got rejected
been on there for months so should be back next week I would have thought
Managed to get all 6x2 at the Bromley store, took a while to find the icing sugar shaker mind! :innocent:
Now I`m buzzing tho, as had 2 coffees while shopping.....
Many thanks

Good thing about my Waitrose is it's in a posh area of town. The posh people won't come out when the weathers bad.
Got everything for once, I usally miss out. No gale was going to stop me. ;-)
I also used my contactess TSB card which gives 5% cashback, so another 52p back in my pocket as well.
Also everybody do note, the free golden syrup in the offer is the MAPLE FLAVOUR one.
All the sugars they give you a £1 off in checkoutsmart, store prices are 1.99 so after coupon are 99p a bag.
also add this if you are shopping from ocado and claim £6 cashback from COS or CS.
spend all that money in vain...

Otherwise see my summary of ideas/tips/tricks on here for more information about Quidco ClickSnap and CheckoutSmart, and 3 other £back sites/apps that give you £back for buying offers & uploading your receipt to them:
