Right, you can have loads of pies for free.
In Tesco only, you have got two kinds of Higgidy pies (chicken and beef). They should have a sticker saying that there is a card inside with which you can claim a free pie.
Now as soon as you buy a first one, then you can claim free pie containing another card. Then you can claim another. And another. And another.. :)
So every time you go to Tesco, you get a pie.
Happy shopping.

Here's a higgidy 'Thank You' for keeping us busy
Eat 10 pies or quiches over 4 months, cut out the 'use by' squares and return them to us (with your address), & we'll send you a voucher for another pie or quiche to say thanks for everything.

So you have to buy 10 and then claim the money back, not 1 like the OP suggests.

Hmmm this sounds like it's not correct. Must be a catch.

yes, that is how it works. So the original post is very misleading. Cold from me.

Well that is how I read it - would definitely make more sense

It's a good deal if you eat the pies anyway as you end up getting them free eventually.

Higgidy pies are £3.75 each

That is different promo  I am not sure if it will last for long though. If many people will start claiming, they may choose to stop it. So take advantage of it while you can

So in the box is there a money off coupon for a free pie ?

It actually gives you £3.75 off a purchase price of £3.68, so they pay you 7p to take one of their lovely pies away.
I tried 3 different Tesco's in central London today but they don't stock them. I think I've taken as many from my local as I can without being blacklisted.

So is this two different offers or what? Free pies and a buy 10 pies get one free?
Fingers crossed for the former. Only Fatty from The Bash Street Kids would find the latter of any use

This one has been around the net for a week or so, it was a great marketing ploy, fact is that there was very limited stock of the pies that had the voucher. Do a quick google, nobody actually managed to get masses of free pies due to limited stock in a limited Tesco's

I have no reason to tell porkies - Saw Martin Lewis mention it on This Morning on my day off. Kensal Rise has two Tesco Express stores within short walk of each other and they both have (or had) this deal on X

I won some vouchers for higgidy pies and quiches so gave them a try and whilst they are nice, they're not worth anything like what they charge for them IMHO. At half the price they'd maybe be ok.

Good find, but agreed overpriced to begin with. They've always struck me as a bit of a hipster product for people that wouldn't normally eat pies. "Hi Mummy, it's Crispin here. I went to a place near Halls of Residence called Tesco today and bought a "pie". It's like a casserole wrapped in pastry. It was scrummy and only £3.75! The northern people on my course said they eat them all the time though they looked a bit shocked at the price."
