Just spoken to Amazon... You have to have an amazon Family Prime membership even though the T&C's doesn't mention this.

I've been a prime member for about 4 years and also an amazon family prime member since 20 December 2013.

Still doesn't work for me.

I'm currently on chat to amazon, been speaking for over 45 mins! At first I was told I had to pay £46 to get the offer, when I pointed out there was no purchase necessary the person disappeared for ages. I was then told I didn't qualify as apparently I'm not a member of prime, which I am! but apparently because I paid £59 for my prime when it was on offer I don't qualify! which is ridiculous! So to anyone who paid for their prime on promotion when it was £59 it won't work for us!

Yes they defiantly seem like they're making up the rules as they go along, from what I've read on here none of the customer service team seem to know what they are on about, they're just full of excuses!

I cannot see claim now button either but I do not suppose it works for Prime for Students?

not working for me, I paid £59 too. surely we could argue that that's not stated in terms and conditions so we should be eligible. would be handy for my newborn. heat for the find, not your fault folk can't get it because amazon are being awkward.

Not working for me... been a (full price) Prime member for a couple of years and had Amazon Family for almost a year. Baby wish list was created last year and I've tried adding/removing items.

Seen everyone else's comments and thought I'd try my luck. Paid for the item then called Amazon who then changed the price to £0.00. If they don't do it for you, simply go back in and cancel your order. Good Luck everyone :-)

I paid the reduced price for prime and offer wasn't working for me so rang them and they've reduced the price of the box (from £46) to £0

I've just got on chat, I told them that I had done everything but it wasn't working and trying to charge me when adding it to the basket. They asked me to order and have just reduced it to £0. I have a student prime account

Hi, i have contacted amazon and they assure me the claim button will be working tomorrow without any faults

I went onto Live chat also. Is the offer for an actual box with pre selected things in? As Instead he told me to pick a Baby item sold by Amazon. I picked a playmat on sale for £45.99, and then he reduced the price to zero for me.

Really happy with this, but wish I had had a look around a bit longer before choosing that item. I thought it was just a standard gift box, not one where you can select your own gifts.

I'm on Amazon prime and signed up to the family one isit a separate app or something as I never get any good deals and have a two week old baby this would be so handy X

On student membership and they did not allow me to have the box. Very disappointing seeing as they do not stipulate that it needs to be 'fully paid' Prime. Also, I have been paying for Prime (fully paid and then Student) for years so surely we deserve it! Very disappointing.

I've just chatted to them they said it would be fully up and running in 48hrs and they have plenty of stock to meet demand, fingers crossed perfect timing for me :smiley:

Amazon said it is a bug on their site. I talked to them on chat and they put the total to 0 after I ordered it!

As others have stated. add to basket, contact customer services, they'll say go through with order and amend the item to zero.

I got some idiot from india on the live chat who said ive got to wait until the 6th even though been a prime member for years

i just did what everyone else did, contacted them through chat and they told me to order it and then gave them the order number and they amended it to zero :-)

They said this to me:

"I checked and see that this promotion is applied by not placing the order straight away it will be added by when you click on the baby registry in the left hand side you will get the claim code button to get this promotion then only you will be be able to avail this promotion and it will be automatically shown in your account within 5 February 2016." - what ever that means.

Just finished calling amazon. They put me on hold twice and changed my order from £46 to 0.

Just come off online chat with a representative - he asked me to place the order for a link he sent, then he reset the price to 0.00. Worked fine :smiley: I am a prime/family member

For those with prime already, add your baby list and add the box to your basket.mine charged 46.00 but I emailed customer services who removed the charge before I was charged or item despatched so I get it free . They reply to emails really quickly, just drop them a line to ask if you're elegible first then they tell u what to do . Hope this helps

I found it difficult to get the chat guy to understand what I meant too- just be persistent! You don't need to be a prime family member and don't let them fob you off. At one point they actually asked me to confirm that there are children in my house! Lol

Spoke to someone on the chat, have to persevere with it as I have a student membership (paid) but drew attention to the terms and conditions and they agreed to send it and to alter the price to £0

I have a Prime membership which I share with family member (who's not a family member). I ordered it for £46 and then chatted to a lovely lady who reduced the price to £0. Baby due any day, so I'm happy :smiley: Thanks for this thread as I wouldn't have done it otherwise.

Following everyone else, i went on chat and they reduced the price from £46 to £0. I'm not in Amazon Family, just Prime. I set up the baby wish list that took 2 mins, didn't add anything to it, and free box of goodies is on its way! Happy days

Also got it after contacting via live chat. Had to place the order at £46 and customer service edited it to £0 immediately. They did try to say it would be working by tomorrow and i would be able to order it then. I told them i'd seen on a forum that they were changing the price to £0 for other people so they could order it now, they then agreed to do that straight away.

Ended up doing the same. The proper link wasn't appearing so chatted to a rep, said I was eligible so placed an order and they reduced it to £0. Great stuff.

After the problem I had yesterday of being told I wasn't eligible for the free baby box due to me buying my prime on the £59 promotion ... after reading the comments on here I contacted amazon again and spoke to someone different and complained, and he did the same that they have for everyone else! so I bought the box, and he changed the price to £0 for me! So to anyone who had problems (if you bought your prime on promotion and were told you didn't qualify) try again! :smiley:

Spoke to two Amazon people, there has been a problem with the site and the button will appear tonight at 10pm for everyone on Prime, beyond the free trial. Family, Student, all of them.

I just created the wish list there and then then opened a chat and told her about the offer she then got me to order it at £46 and went in and amended the order to £0.00

So if they say your not eligible because you had prime when on offer its all made up

I have just ordered, go through the usual ordering process but when it gets to the payment page where you choose which card to pay with there should be a box to tick which says use your £46 promotional balance. Tick the box and then go to complete order and it will change price to zero.

Yay! 51 minutes after they promised it would be there it is!

So when you're on the desktop site looking at your baby wish list the 'claim it now' button is on the far left, click it, then proceed to check out, at payment it says "Use £46 promotional credit", check box, check out and presto! It arrives Monday for me.

Grrr, hate how amazon are so inconsistent with things. I have been told on live chat in no uncertain terms that only prime members who paid £79 are eligible, I explained that student prime at £39 were also eligible but was told over and over no...never mind...I give up lol!

I've just ordered one and it was completely free, make sure your on the full Amazon website and not just the mobile one, you should see the offer on the left of your list, brilliant offer.

To get it to work you need to go on to Amazon's website and look for prime family. If you have a prime membership then there should be a button saying "join for free". I did that and the free baby box link appeared in my baby wish list

I also have a student prime membership and was told i didn't qualify as i wasn't a Family prime member, so argued my case and pasted in their own T&Cs, turns out i was still on the student prime trial (4months in) so i simply upgraded my account early and the promo became available!

So student prime is eligible for the promotion as they have the 'required prime membership'

Anyways the representative stated there's 2 different boxes. Only difference I quickly noticed was box a had sterilising bottle (I think) and box B had a cream.

He's just reduced the item to £0.01 which I'm not even fussed about.

got mine today all the box can have different things in got a winnie the pooh phone case in which we can't use since it is for an iphone 4,4s or 5

You need to do this on the full website not mobile app or small screen as it won't show you the claim otherwise

Just to update. I was on a six months free student trial. Contacted customer service and advised as long as it's paid prime not a trial it will work for all.

Upgraded to paid student as it only had a short period left, and wa la the box was free with any need to contact anyone.

Has anyone got a copy of the "How Big Is Your Bump" chart that they don't need. Only it wasn't included in my box, after much telling to my 5 year old daughter how she could check on the size of the baby. I now am desperately trying to find one to stop the tears!

I've got this added but it just says unavailable... does that mean out of stock and won't be coming back? I'm a bit confuddled and my baby is due in April so this would come in ever so handy.. :-/
