It beats suburban, cul-de-sac dwelling Drambuie sippers.
It's not a bad scotch at all for this price, although The Black Grouse is far nicer.

A terrible whisky. You decide if you're willing to spend £15 on it.

Clearly a lot of people decide to buy it as it's the best selling whisky in Scotland.....

That doesn't mean anything. Buckfast is one of the best selling wines in Scotland. Doesn't make it nice!

I'd be interested to know which whiskies are better in a similar price range?

Famous Grouse is not bad for the price. Nice with a mixer. £15 for 1L is very good.

Isle of Jura 35Ml - Sainsburys £17
Yeah it's less than half the volume but if you want to drink whiskey it's far better than the blended rubbish.
Heat added for the price and sorry if i sound like a snob. I just like real whiskey and wouldn't thank someone for a bottle of Grouse. If you like Grouse then fair do's, it's a great deal.

Interesting article for those knocking blended whisky.
I have over 30 malts, but I also like Grouse now and again.
