Since you got this already can you tell me if steelbook is a separate item or the actual game is in steelbook. I would like to keep the steelbook, but have the game already.

Not having a go at you or anything, just using your comment to piggy back on the point, but preordering is THE BIGGEST waste of money EVER. HotUKDealers should NOT be doing it.
Pre-orders normally give you some useless tat like an in game code that gives you different skins or maybe a map. They are not worth the inevitable price drop that games experience and absolutely not worth the £100-£200 price drop that consoles see in the first 9-12 months which is when consoles only have launch titles and no back catalogue to buy from.
Seriously I've never understood pre-ordering...

Is performance solid on PC? I picked up the PS4 version at launch so I could play in comfort but got fed up with the awful frame rate issues. Thinking about picking it up for PC now if performance is good. TIA

I had to mess with my settings a fair bit with a 8320 @ 4.2 and a 3gb 780. Turning the shadows down to medium the frame rate is 40+. I had to mess with the vsync and windowed settings too. There are a few occasions where frames drop, which is annoying because its not due to my hardware as far as I can tell because the CPU and GPU loads actually drop, so I think it is an optimization issue. That said these instances are not often enough to spoil it for me. The game is awesome and I'm on my third playthrough. I paid £30 for the game, which is the most I've ever paid for a PC game and it was well worth it imo.

I'm running an i5 and a gtx 770 and it plays butter smooth. I don't accept anything under 60 to be "playable" either. Defo get the better version.

Does this contain the whole game? A friend of mine bought it retail for 70$ on release day and the dvd only contained 5% content and leaves 30gb for download and nothing else in the box. This means he could not play it since he´s on seajob on limited connection. I havent bought it and wont ever buy anything from a company that treats costumers like that.

Does it come with a Steam code I could give to someone and keep the steelbook?

Any Steel Book edition, means the plastic case you normally get has a Steel Lithographed(and often contoured) printed case. Then the extra goodies on top.. Includes the game disc or discs.

You do get the odd bargain pre-ordering. Got FIFA 16 on PS4 for £33 on here with a pre-order a month from launch. But yes, your point stands
