Great price for these. The extract grade are drier than the premium vanilla pods, but still just as useable. Supermarkets usually charge about £2 for 1. Ideal to make your own vanilla sugar, by just putting the sliced pods in a jar of sugar for a few weeks to infuse the flavour or you can make vanilla vodka a similar way.
The company does have an eBay shop but works out cheaper to buy direct.

They do have a few others i fancied trying. Ive only used Madagascan vanilla before but they have a few others from various parts of the world. The Mexican ones sound good. The Tahiti ones seem to be the bees knees ones going off the price, bit to out my price bracket though

I'm not familiar with differences between premium grade & extract grade. Is there any other differences apart from what you mentioned?

Not really. The flavour is still there just like normal premium vanilla pods. A lot of it is down to appearance. Youd get bit more of the vanilla seeds inside the premium ones with em not being as dry, but when you can get 10 for near on same price as one its a no brainer to me. So for example if a recipe asked for 1 to flavour some cream you may end up using 2.
They do the job just fine in the examples i give though about using them to flavour sugar or spirits.

Easy vanilla infused vodka recipe (can be used for rum to)
*Pour vodka in a glass lidded bottle (the original vodka bottle works fine)
*Add split vanilla pod (s), 1 is fine but can use 2 for better flavour
* Close and let infuse 1-2 weeks in a cool dark place. Gently shake every other day, to distribute the flavour. The longer it keeps the stronger the flavour
If you end up with bits in the vodka at the end , you can just pass it through a coffee filter
