They say up to 10 days, was over 2 weeks before I received mine.
They claimed the delay was outside their control because they have to wait on Nokia for each code. (Whether you think that's **** is up to you!)

The worst-case-scenario I've seen is when people have inadvertantly used up credit for data before cancelling the pack and ended up with only £4 credit, but not relevant here if you used the Nokia 130.
Anyhow the extra 10p can't be explained due to EE's minimum charge for any call being 35p or for a text 12p.
I picked up this phone on Monday and it accepted a TPO card with no need to unlock, as others have reported, but I've successfully used the above "Rakuten 99p SIM + £4" method before to unlock another phone, without problem (apart from the ridiculous time it takes EE to do it!)

Im finding it very difficult to get this unlocked. Tried loads of local shops, and a couple of online companies and no one has been abke to unlock it. Finally I contacted EE, who said it can take up to 10 days for them to send the code. Lets see if they can do it.
Has anyone else been able to get theirs unlocked?

& if you followed post #40 I think it was, then you could do the unlock for just £4 (by ordering a 99p EE sim with £5 of credit - then adding another £3 of credit to pay for the £8 unlock code)

Does not come with credit, unless if you topped up when purchased. If you went through fast track and didnt top up, you wont get the credit.

(It'll cost you £4 with a bit of patience/trickery - or £8 if you go direct through EE).
Alternatively, just use an operator that uses the EE network - such as TPO, Asda, Life Mobile etc. No need to unlock the phone with those providers.

Hi all. Just to forewarn.... I bought one today and took it back an hour later. Despite having bluetooth, these do not connect to a bluetooth earpiece. (I have a Plantronics M55.) They will however connect to devices such as phones and laptops.
If connecting to a Bluetooth earpiece is a deal breaker, this item is no good for you.
Shame. Nice little phone otherwise.

Ok just to confirm i purchased this online via fast track, paid £4.99 online, and collected the phone instore at the fast track counter. Didnt get asked anywhere to top up £10, even though it says on the website that £10 top up is required. I think if I was to pay for it instore, they wouldve asked me to buy £10 top up.
Also, the phone is locked to EE. I wanted to use my giffgaff sim in it (which is on the o2 network) . Anyone know where I can get it unlocked from?
Activate it by texting "Stop pack" to 150, then reply "YES" to the text they will send you asking to confirm.
Either make sure you turned off data before inserting the new SIM or, to be safer, use an old-style non-smart phone (this Nokia will do), to ensure the pack does not start taking data before it's cancelled!
You will now have £5 credit on the SIM.
Now phone EE to ask to have the phone unlocked, have the IMEI number to hand. They'll ask if you have sufficient credit (£8.99) on the phone, which you won't of course, and will allow you to top up the difference of £4 by credit/debit card.
Be warned it takes forever before receiving the unlocking code by email. They say up to 10 days but mine took over 2 weeks!

You need to buy it using the FastTrack service. That way, it is all bought and paid for...and no top up will be due.
If you just do a standard reserve and collect, you'll be paying an extra tenner.

I'm fed up with Apps granting themselves upgrades so they can snoop at more and more of my smartphone, so am now using a basic phone for private calls and texts and my smartphone is data only, without contacts.
