Simply Direct
->98% positive over the past 12 months. (22,514 total ratings)
prefer the latter as it's a company i used before and they ship from UK

Surely £1.66 is miles better and they have 100%?

100% over a 12 months period on 52 customers? you go for it and be the 53rd customer and you might get (or not) genuine batteries that are dispatched from some place in the world. my opinion

Low level seller maybe, but they have 100% feedback, surely that stands for something?

might .. unless the 52 ratings are done family / friends.
there are a lot of fakes duracell batteries in the market as because i bought from simply direct before will stick with them. Again my opinion.... cheers for commenting though

Not every customer leaves feedback and not all feedback is genuine. It goes without saying that the seller you have used is more established, and the other seller is US based, but they all have to start from somewhere. Personally I would have no problem using them, Amazon pretty much covers any immediate CS issues, especially with things like batteries. Nevertheless, a good price.

Everybody has to start somewhere and £1.66 to £2.50 is a huge amount more, albeit on a low cost item.
If Amazon cover us, then it's a no brainer really...

I agree. Amazon won't cover you after a few weeks with third party sellers, but if there are any initial problems, especially with items like these (batteries, chargers etc) then from personal experience they are very good at sorting problems/refunds. But you also have to take into account delivery times etc, so if you would like these delivered quickly, then a little extra is probably worth it, especially as seeing as they are actually a good price anyway.

cheaper on eBay - if you want paypal protection. works out at £2.25 for 10. Ordered some the other day and no issues.
No works out as £2.99 for 10 10 pack same supplier
You posted a pack of 50 which is a different proposition all together.

This is a very good deal. The £1.66 deal is also good but only 52 ratings over 12 months is a concern if buying a lot of packs, for one or 2 packs sounds like a good way to evaluate their service, could be a very good seller for future purchases, of cousre it's a clear risk.

The OPs seller apparently trades from a TEN Bedroomed house in Wembley (streetview shows it is a very nice house with a large extension but 10 bedrooms? HIMO? Doesn't look like it). They have a mobile contact number. The 52 feedback seller has a New York adress and what looks like a nonsense telephone number? You pays yer money.....
PS Simply Direct also have an ebay shop (with the same contact details and VAT reg no.) but no Duracell batteries on sale
PPS Voted HOT on price (whichever you use) but as a committed recheargeable battery user won't be buying from any seller

IKEA has the best value batteries bar none. Measured on a proper performance and price basis.

I wonder if these are fake, the market is flooded with fakes.

I think Wilkos AA and AAA alkalines are now 8 for 95p. Better than even the pound shops, possibly better than IKEA, possibly best price going that's in store / normal price?
