they put white stuff on my tyres as well, when i asked the staff said its a type of liquid they put around the edge of tyres

I got my tyres today by the way. They're quite grubby and there's white stuff all around the alloy edge. Bit disappointed they don't look lovely and new. I'm sure they're fine though. They have coloured lines around the middle on the tread, so I'm sure they've got to be new even though they don't look all nice!

Just booked online for Saturday 2nd April. But noticed this promo is only valid until 31st March. Also it says it has to be installed at the same time as being purchased.
I might try submitting the claim form anyway but I only have a booking reference from the email confirmation instead of an invoice number right now.

Thanks, have ordered them now to be fitted on Thursday  No sign of it tracking on Quidco yet, not sure if it will, the tyres are on a different part of the website, so a new window opened up for that area so just need to wait and see.

yes tyres do deteriorate and got shelf life but not sure how long, but i dont think these tyres are 2014, while i changing these tyres at one of the centre, the staff mentioned it is better than other brands and he was honest as there is no benefit for him just to boast about this brand. By the way there was no packaging while he brought the tyre, it was ready before i reach the centre.
Now we can see customer reviews about all tyres, you have 50% critical and 50% 5 star reviews.
AS for as iam concerned i feel this is cheap including fitting, amazon vouchers.

I'm looking for new tyres and found this deal on the Halford's site, and was going to post on here and did a quick search first. Thanks all for contributions to this thread.
Only one thing I read concerned me. I'm looking at these - Dunlop Sport BluResponse (205/55 R16 91V) 2014
Someone mentions these are '2014' tyres. Do tyres deteriorate? I'm assuming if I bought the 'Dunlop Sport BluResponse (205/55 R16 91V)' at £10 more each (£62.99 vs £52.99) I'd simply be getting a newer model. Any need for this? Would still be a good deal vs other places at around £60 per tyre, but without the Amazon deal.
By the way, also looking to use Topcashback for 3% cashback, which nobody seems to have mentioned?

Got a good deal on tyres at Halfords Autocentre a couple of years ago, booked in online at my local centre, then day before fitting got a call to day they can't fit my wheel size. Why take the booking then? Nevermind - rebooked at my second nearest centre. They totally **** my alloys with the tyre levers. Manager promised to make good but I still have the scrapes and gashes on my alloys to this day. COLD :disappointed:
