refresh your air con normally means top up the refrigerant gas to make it work better/colder. you can't do that, but you could spray this down the ducting and over the condensor if your air con stinks. take out your pollen filter first because if that gets sprayed, your car is going to smell like dettol for ever more, that happened to me.

Dont think so,you can get it refreshed in a garage for around £10-£15,it is done with a similar aerosol can but once it starts spraying it does so until it's empty,or you can buy the can and do it yourself for about £5,you put your aircon on that some at full blast and close all doors and windows and leave it until it's done,it takes away any smells that some aircon systems produce.I think the term you are describing is an aircon recharge.
