Winter's Gold is rich with toffee, fresh green apple and honey notes - supported by some robust smoke and golden malt hints.
From the Highlands, specifically the highest and coldest distillery in Scotland, Dalwhinnie
Dalwhinnie's Winter Gold works best served straight out of the freezer

the cheapest I've seen this recently is a smidgeon under 30 quid. Goid price if you like it.

For all the haters of Dalwhinnie winters gold - I must say - The Dalwhinnie 15 yr old is very good.

Bought some of this on a visit to the distillery as it didn't seem to be available anywhere else at the time. Paid about this for it (or a couple of £ more) but it is certainly the worst whisky I've bought in recent years and the only bottle which has lasted more than a couple of weeks in my house.
I'd avoid this.

Tried a bottle of this at xmas, wouldn't purchase again going against what you could get in its place for similar money, for instance the Singleton Tailfire was cheaper than this last night and is far superior...
It's not bad once it's been in the freezer, but even then not really that great.

It does work, although there's nothing to stop you drinking it at room temperature - once you buy it, it's yours  . The interesting thing is that when you pour it you can see that the viscosity has increased. A gimmick perhaps, but at this price it's a decent dram
