Now we all know that debenhams deals are ten-a-penny but the reason I am putting this up is that I received it today and I am very pleasantly surprised what a great deal it is for £10.50 - I was looking for a light small bag for when I don't want to use one of my saddleback leather bags (Saddleback owners will know what I am talking about :- )
The main reason that I think people will be interested is because the description on debenhams doesn't do it justice:
* Good internal secure pocket with a zip - handy for travel
* Good internal multiple pockets
* It is fully convertable from backpack to messenger. What the debenhams description doesn't make clear is (and this is hard to describe) is that when you don't want to use it as a backpack - it has effectively small pockets that the straps disappear into and you would never know they are there.
After receiving it - I think at the full price it would have been a good bag but at £10.50, I think it's a great deal for a well made well thought out day bag.
Dont suppose I could trouble you for the sizes I know it says A4 capacity but would appreciate if you have the bag handy ................pretty please :innocent:

Oh yeah!
Just something else I noticed - besides the interior space and pen pockets -besides the one secure zip pocket there is another in the flap which would be very hard for someone to get into while the bag while buckled...

If you are worried about that - get one of these - http://www.saddlebackleather.com/messenger-bag - although it is slightly heavier... (very comfortable to wear as a backpack however).

Was tempted as a spare changing bag for when I'm out with the bairn, but just had a look at the photos on the Debenhams site when it's converted. Hopefully the straps can be lengthened, otherwise it's a good look! :smile:

That black one seems to be different - no outer zip on mine.
As usual, he who hesitates! Says low stock but when I went to order it, it says its out of stock!
Oh well, may not have been suitable anyway - I didn't want to use it as a backpack, literally just for carrying my lunchbox to work as it doesn't fit in my laptop bag. A Tesco carrier bag will have to do still for now (and that was £10.45 less than this too!)

Just managed to order this one for my wife who wanted something like this for her diabetic stuff when we go on day trips etc.
