At the Asda in Hyson Green Tassimo Costa caramel latte 8 packs are reduced to £1.50. Usually about £5 a pack
Think this is because they need to clear them for the new style with the powered milk. Not sure if this is national

Great find. I've been bulk buying old style from Amazon for a while but when they are gone it's back to Dolce Gusto.
Facebook page is full of complaints and Tassimo are burying their heads further in the sand. Even the chocolate is awful now.

Can anyone else confirm if this is national? It may tempt me to replace my dolce gusto

The new style Lattes don't have powdered milk. Good find for those who still like these. I use a Nespresso for my Lattes and cappuccinos now.

What is this change you speak of? The Tassimo milks have never been great, nothing compares to fresh milk

If this is the long 3 box packs (not the square 2 box) then they must be close to BBE date. The milk will need a good shake before using.

Bought some of these last night in the Melksham store. BBE June 2016

I had a tasssimo, thought it was the bee's knees. Then the missus moved in and brought her bean to cup machine. Never pod a tassimo pod since, vile and pricey when compared to this. Voted hot as a massive saving on RRP but anyone that pays the full RRP wants to give themselves a wobble.

Well I never! Not as good as a machine costing up to ten times as much...
Who'd a thunk it, etc.

tassimo have stopped publishing the reviews of the products - the new chai latte are undrinkable.

Over time it works out far cheaper.
Anyone that thinks a tassimo makes good coffee is nuts. High running cost, awful milk and bland machines.
10 times as much? Some Tassimos are 80 or so quid, you can get bean to cup from about 300 quid. Initial investment might be higher but you'll save not having to buy over priced pods.

will these work on a nespresso? are they interchangable or one has to stick specific pods?
Paddy_o_furniture
22 Feb 16#27
No tassimo and nespresso use different pods. Not compatible with one another.

I had a tassimo machine for 4 years now, always used it for lattes, and I genuinely can't tell the difference between the old pods and the new ones. I'm not trying to be funny or anything, they really taste the same to me.

Love these for a treat, but refuse to pay full price. Costa lattes are hardly ever including in supermarket offers

Managed to get some Costa caramel latte in the Tamworth store today - NOT priced up but cost £1.50 per pack. These were away from the new smaller packs (priced over £5!) pleased you posted this, thanks!

Good deal for Costa branded pods. Had a Tassimo for years along with Nespresso and professional espresso makers but Tassimo is great for a quick coffee which tastes good. Only use Costa pods as hated the sweetened milk used by Tassimo branded pods. It was like using condensed milk. Nespresso pods are good but too fiddly when rushing out to work and buying genuine pods is no cheaper when adding the cost of postage from Nespresso. Cannot beat coffee made in proper espresso machine but don't always have the time to do so.
