Bit confused by that  as its showing lots of stock available when I look, not every store in the country obviously as its a clearance item; but plently still out there for Click and Collect.
Inverness, Norwich, leeds were the first 3 places I typed in and all had stock within 5 miles

Sorry I didn't know which bit of Manchester you were in..... its a big place....
I just typed in Manchester and they were both within 5 miles.
Shame its collection only, you get that with a lot of clearance items I think.
I live 100 miles from any Argos and I don't have a car;
but I'm sure there will be a lot of people who will be able to benefit from this deal.....hopefully

Mind boggling why you commented to say none in Manchester and then comment further to say not worth a 30 mile round trip?
Mind boggling

No worries , 100 miles  that's impressive !!

How's it mind boggling ? I live in Manchester and its 15 miles to that Argos from my house ....

Hehe when I replied to that comment I never realised that the 30 miles was a 'round' trip.... I don't think 15 miles to a branch is really that much if it's something you want..... pretty normal distance I would think.
I travel a 30 mile round trip on the bus for my weekly groceries. Maybe I'm just a hard-core traveller

that's remote Scotland!, sometimes it feels like an expedition to get anywhere so Argos may as well be on the moon ..lol

I guess I'm spoilt then it's the fact of driving to an Argos when there is at least 10 closer ones

Maybe distance is a totally relative concept
If I was a snail 15 miles might be lifetime, but if I was a giant it might only be a few minutes stroll :stuck_out_tongue:

Hehe I miss those days.
As it stands for me to get to an Argos its a 200 miles round trip, 4 taxis, and 2 trains and a cost of about £160, so a 30 mile round trip seems just a skip away.

There are a few sets left in a small number of stores, as it's end of line/discontinued.
As they are now being discontinued, Argos have decided to reduce them. Are they not allowed to do that??
Stop blubbing like a baby. This is standard practice for most retailers.

I'd checked the box saying "only show stores that have items in stock
" and it came back with nothing.

As with all Argos Clearance deals it's best to be quick, last night Manchester Salford City Shopping and Hulme had some left now they do not.
Of the random place names I typed in last night Inverness, Norwich etc it shows there is stock still out there.
There are currently 100 people looking at that item on Argos, it's popular, it is a heavily discounted clearance line. Not everyone will be lucky enough to get a set.
I cannot benefit from probably 80% of the deals posted on this site, but that doesn't mean that they are not good deals.
I wish it was simpler to copy and paste all the stores that have stock at the time of writing a deal, but as its constantly changing I don't know that it would really help.
Sorry you missed out.
