This is an official form of Identification and can be used in shops to buy cigarettes or alcohol etc
The card can also be used to enter clubs and pubs.
If you look under 25 then it is a good thing to have on you.
Better than carrying your license or passport etc.
Usually priced at £15.00 but with the discount code will cost you only £1.00.
Urgent cards cost £30.00 but the £14.00 Discount works on this price too so will cost you £16.00 instead.
code is COOP
Please note this deal went up over 4 months ago so this is a heads up that its still available as i have just sent off for it for my daughter :
Credit to W22ULF who found the deal originally.
The code has now been changed and now only takes off £7 instead of £14 and comes up with the following message
Congratulations, you save £7.00! You will pay £8.00 for your card.

My experience of these via our son due to constant age verification is they are a complete waste of time. Despite all the claims pubs and clubs etc were not interested in it as a valid form of ID.
Other people may of had better luck but it turned out to be an expensive ice scraper!

Well if the bouncers do not want to except as valid identification you can ask for their name and obvious report The Nightclub who refused entry because they will go in and investigate these will shine 100% pass proof under and ultraviolet torch light from knowing friends have had fakes and they do not show up the pass hologram i get served all the time in supermarkets an other places these are becoming a valid identification i feel being stereotyped as women has nothing to do with why people get refused it is just because some people who work for these company's have no idea what this card is at times

These Are excepted everywhere i have been iv not had no problems except one issue which i reported and was resolved quick just because i am a women and was excepted into a nightclub means absolute nothing if you shine a uv light on the card it comes up with 100% pass proof the fake versions do not have this

I've had one of These From The age of my 18th Birthday I'm now 22 & haven't had no problems i had one incident in a pub who wouldn't class as form of identification so I reported & was apologised to as These are Form of identification and I've never once Had Any issues with Getting in a Nightclub or purchasing Alcohol or cigarettes (not for me) The Best Way To prove 100% pass proof is to shine a uv light & you will see the 100% pass proof hologram all over The card i was Taught this by a nightclub owner Fakes will not Show The hologram As I've known previous Friends to Buy a fake

From your name I assume you're female which also helps... Bouncers often give very different treatment to women than they do to guys in my experience.
I'm sure I would have numerous problems using this as ID for pubs, bars and clubs.

A driving license is pretty much universally accepted as a form of ID, yes the cost is more but the chances of it not being accepted is tiny.
As for not driving vs driving its a life skill.
Once you have it you have it pretty much for life (it has to renewed at 60+ of something).
It opens up a lot of options. Even if you don't own a vehicle its the ability to know you can borrow or hire one (with insurance of course) should you need or want to.
The cost of learning is high, but once you have it you have it. It can pay for itself within a day; think train prices from north to south for 5 vs var hire + fuel, house clearance, collecting goods, etc.

Even thought the Home Office and SIA support it? Anybody with a UV torch, a pocket magnifier and a brain can determine if they are genuine - the same equipment needed to verify other proofs of age. From experience, many door staff lack at least one of those important tools.

Majority of places really don't accept these as they're commonly forged and not many people know these are legitimate anyway. There's no legal requirement to accept or even know about these.

This is a ridiculous comment. The number of people who would be denied a licence on the basis of 'medical conditions' is almost negligible. All conditions, except for the most serious, can be declared to the DVLA and a licence will be issued. This includes most disabilities unless they have the potential to seriously affect someone's driving ability (epilepsy etc.).

These citizen cards are useless and very hit and miss. Could be very embarrassing on a night out or even getting served for drinks over a meal. A provisional licence is the way to go, only £20 to replace too. Mine arrived in 3 days when I applied online.
These cards aren't worth the plastic they are printed on and probably reflects the price.

What is the difference between this and a National Identity Card, I was always wondering why sainsbury people refuse to accept my national identity card (which is accepted by border police for EU travel even without a passport and is in English even though it is a foreign card).
