NOTE that any purchased film is only available for a period of 3 years & one cannot download it to keep for good (found out a month ago when just about to buy a film) - from this link (or read post #47 in this thread):

Its expired 15.01 and the sky movies expires on 31.01 so it's not a brilliant deal compared to previous deals .. I only paid £19.99 for this deal before Christmas

I'm pretty sure they're trustful.
A lot of chromecast deals have been from the wuaki website.
Also as of reading info from the internet it seems like wuaki itself is a subset of rakuten, which is a trusted online market, like amazon which started in Japan and is expanding worldwide
adam_itfc to 50pEachwayJay

Don't worry they are a trusted company. Always have a deal like this on every few months. They do online streaming like a cross between Netflix and Blockbuster. There app is on some smart TVs too

The offer is for chromecasts bought between a particular period. If you bought within that period then you should be OK. Give it a try from the Chromecast android app or their Chromecast redeem page.

This or the firestick?
hcc27 to ganon
29 Jan 16#21
Well this one doesn't have its own OS. You have to point a stream to it from a PC or tablet.
The Firestick is more expensive, but it does have it's own OS and you can side load Kodi which works perfectly. You pay about 70% more though.

Anyway, I've given heat but I won't be going for one of these wuaki while they are still only give the SD version. Also from the small print "Valid until end of stock (250 units)", so hurry if you want one.

sparx1981
29 Jan 16#27
I have both firestick and chromecast. Chromecast has Flixster support whereas I believe it's been pulled from Fire Tv. You can get the app still but flixster dont support it. Also, because i use my google sign-on for Flixster, I cannot sign in via the fire stick.
Fire TV has apps and games and a remote. Generally better apps and games than Chromecast. Plus your phone can be used as a voice remote. Also Amazon Prime video which isn't supported by chromecast.
Chromecast has google play music, movies and better flixster support. Also nice to just sling a youtube video to the tv rather than use the remote to type on the fire stick...

You're better off spending another £27 on a Google Nexus Player whenever it's on sale for £50 as that supports casting as well as Kodi. It was recently £50 on Ebuyer but they have now sold out and the webpage says it's been discontinued. Your best bet is to watch out for sale at Argos where it occasionally drops to £50.

I second that .. a LOT of Chromecast Deals both of late (January this year & December of last year), as well as thos in the past too (the bulk bit of last year + a reasonable porton of the year before that too!) has been ('on & off') via these people!.
Eg. a lot of the HUKD Deals on the orginal Chromecast v1 (version1) of about 1.5 years back now or so?) were via them, including a few last year for the now current (as per the OP's Deal) Chromecast v2 (version 2) as you now see above before you ... lol. :-)
I believe that rakuten is an arm of the former Play.com too? (and everyone remembers them right?, hehehehe). :-)

Don't know if anyone mentioned this before - note that any purchased film is only available for a period of 3 years & one cannot download it to keep for good (found out a month ago when just about to buy a film) - from HERE::
**If you decide to purchase a movie or TV series, the content will be available in your "Library" folder for at least 3 years. If the studios allow us, we will of course make the content available even longer.
At the moment, for technical reasons, it is not possible to download your purchased content for offline viewing. You can also not download it to the hard drive of your computer or to a DVD disc. Nevertheless, you can access your purchased content easily and stream it as many times as you want. Your "Library" folder is located in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage. You must be signed in to your Wuaki.tv account to see your "Library".**
Still, better than nothing I suppose!

Honestly it's not a very good device though, if your on a major budget then okay but I have a PC, PS3, PS4 and Kindle stick that can all stream movies from my phone. Most homes would already have these capabilities, and it doesn't stream very well unless it's beside a router!!!
