You hold the hamster's paw till the light goes red, then you talk and it will then play back whatever you, or your child, has said in an annoying hamster-like voice. But the kids love it!
Be careful with these... I once bought three of these for my nieces Christmas and made the mistake of letting them chat to each other. We couldn't stop laughing at first but then it started to get sinister with their ever higher pitched repetition until the windows and glasses started to vibrate ominously*
*possibly exaggerating but it was very amusing (at least for the first few minutes)!

Unable to find when searching online, are they in store only? Hope not, over an hour away to closes Asda and would love to surprise my poorly little monster with one.
