Seems good for the money, might be worth checking if it has stainless steel spokes, the rustless ones look bad after a fairly short time.
Seatpost is micro adjust, stem is alloy not steel, headset is ahead type, all good.

I have had the mens version in white/blue colour, had for over a year now, excellent bike and not had one problem, i decided to build it myself at home to get everything spot on and how i like it.

Must agree about the men's version, excellent bike. Got mine for £160 using a combination of vouchers from work and 10% off at Halfords, well worth the money. Excellent gear changes even from the cheap gear set and some chunkier hybrid tyres that suit British roads full of pot holes.

Hi, I have never been into biking and wouldn't know about specifications etc (but I know how to ride a bike). I am planning on buying a bike so I can go cycling with my kids and my husband and probably will use the odd day during the week. This bike is rigid ? Will this be ok for what I need? I've read that if it's rigid it will be lighter than bikes with suspension. Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you.

excellent bike for money but Halfords claim all their bikes cost £400 plus originally. false advertising. don't believe the lies, and assume your getting such an amazing bargain.still excellent bikes though worth buying.
