Good idea, bad price considering over 60% off the game has been stripped.
My point is that COD multiplayer is hardly a FPS:
1. Half of the games are won by 1 or 2 guys that run around spamming their knifes
2. Have a loot at the final kill cams: headshots are never actual shots in the head
3. It is the same Black Ops, the same damn game rehashed and re-released year after year after year
4. You are most likely to get shot/knifed by someone running behind you rather than getting your reflexes to work in an 1 on 1 shootout.
5. Pro players will know where enemies will respawn and usually camp the hell out of them.

Do you not think, that many people only buy these games for the Multiplayer Aspect, thus this is a godsend!

Although I don't play COD any more this isn't really a very good deal. Nice idea to begin with but not as much as a lot of people would have been hoping to see included.

Considering the game is £40 on steam I can't say the price is unfair. You know its unfair to compare to the cost of this to key sites so dont reply with that.

They should have lowered the level cap and made this free in order to give us a proper marketing campaign. Although I personally enjoy the game it has received numerous complaints that are aimed especially to the multiplayer mode. Also a third of this game does not make £11, not even close. I was playing multiplayer last night and one of my team mates said about COD: BO3 that is 'a kids game'.
If you guys want a proper multiplayer shooter try Battlefield 4 for 6-7 pounds.

Your mate says its a kids game, your point? The game is currently £40 on steam so 1/3 of the game for £11 seems a pretty good deal no? Of course it can be had cheaper on key sites but thats not the point.

I get the impression this will rather dramatically increase the amount of people who're using cheats on accounts, if it's a lot less money to buy just the MP on a secondary account.
Still, I think the principle behind it is a good one.

Tempting as I didn't play campaign in at least the last two CODs however not being able to prestige. Not interested. Just wait for the full game to go on offer (as someone else already said)

I know this might not go down soooo well, not intended to be inflammatory thought.
If this appeals, and the idea of big, glorious multiplayer appeals, DO take a look at "planetside 2" on steam. Completely free, no need to spend a penny on it. Some folks will find the initial weapon loadouts too restrictive (they're on a similar power level to everything else) and find the learning curve/digging out of the "newbie" well a bit too much of a wall but... it's FREE. 200+ player firefights with endless amounts of tanks/airpower involved are a very common occurrence.
If you can't get signup to work off the "create account" type page go to daybreak games main site and sign up there. It's the absolute pinnacle of this sort of game.

Given the full game on PC can be had for not much more (check the site), this deal isn't particularly great. You're better off getting the full game for around a tenner more.
Planet side isn't too bad, tho it's not optimised well for lower end machines. Also it gets kind of grindy so that may turn off a few people.

£11 and people are still complaining that its missing some features. It is really so surprising (or offensive) that they still want to give you a reason for buying the full game?

matchmaking doesn't work like that in this game

Hang on, it's a it's a pack containing only the multiplayer side of the game for those that only want to play multiplayer, but half of the multiplayer features that are completely unrelated to the campaign have been inexplicably removed?

Just keep in mind the fact that with the unlock system in multiplayer you wont have access to all the weapons, perks, and characters as there isn't enough unlocks available to access all of them, so you may become stuck at the highest level of 0th prestige with weapons, characters, and abilities you haven't and cant unlock but would like to use.
Not voted as it is marketed as a starter pack but comes with a very steep price in comparison to the circulating prices of the whole game and the trap set at the level cap.
Full game can be bought for about 20 quid. Haven't voted either way, but this a no deal for me

Kepp in mind people considering this is the upgrade from this version isn't very good value at £28. When you can buy the full game at £23, not sure though if the upgrade will be available cheaper from other digital stores.
But yeah, make sure you know you won't want to upgrade in the future or you might end up paying around £40 for the entire game.

Sounds like the ps3 version of the game. There were lots of complaints about that not having campaign. But then this is about half what you could get the ps3 version for when it came out. (Sainsburys with grocery shop) . Heat for the price, seems about right.

Without prestige you'll be stuck playing against the noobs of same rank. Prestige makes for better ranked games.

Never seen the point in prestige. If I am top ranked, I play well, and score well. No need to Prestige, but then again, I'm now a casual gamer

Even on multiplayer though you can't prestige.

Never even knew about this. Not for me but a good idea nonetheless
I would be interested if there was a standalone zombies version but no version atm
