Sadly, its a Bush that is probably hundreds of miles away, and even if you are lucky enough to find Bush, the wood definitely won't be natural, so probably a let-down.

Maybe it's the newer models? (Built to fail) My Roberts Gemini 12 must be at least 10 years old and works fine. As does my Pansonic RF-D1

Absolutely! In fact, this approach usually works well:
1. Find the most attractive female sales assistant in Argos (difficult, but not impossible - much like finding their clearance stock)
2. Then, politely ask to see her Bush
3. If it's suitable for your needs, let her know and she'll take care of you

The only DABs I've heard of that have longevity issues are the Pure radios (just look at reviews, which is what put me off).
I'm still looking for a DAB alarm with BIG NUMBERS (bad eyesight), have been looking for a while :sunglasses:

Price is good, but I wouldn't buy any radio that didn't have a DAB band. I know the FM stations are not going to be shut down yet, but..
And actually I think the wood effect looks awful. How can it be 'natural wood effect'?, it either natural wood or it's wood effect, most likely the latter

Dab radios don't last long even the John Lewis spectrum a which Best Buy lasts around 3 years a repair man told me this last week ! FM radios last a very long time
