@Money_Expert Windows does have notifications and has had since Windows 8! If you don't like the official Twitter app there are a number of alternatives such as Tweetdeck. Windows 8 and 10 are both designed to be used either with or without a keyboard - and if you're just using modern apps i.e. equivalent to the Android ones then there is no disadvantage not having a keyboard compared to using Android as they are both designed to be used touch first. If you're using Win32 apps then yes these are obviously better with a keyboard and mouse but how is having access to more apps a disadvantage?

I've got one. Upgraded to win10 no problem. Admittedly I'd rather have got a Android tablet as I believe windows is only best experienced with a physical keyboard and isn't great for social media stuff as you don't have notifications like android does. Example windows Twitter app is complete crap compared to the android one. Other than that the device has been good but the WiFi module could have been better as WiFi reception is very weak in areas of my house where my laptops and phones would have no problem.

Trust me, everybody was looking at me and I told him that even a cheap tablet should allow to enter text properly....but the manager refused to give me a refund. I told him that their 30 day money back guarantee is **** because it really is. Only if you are not 100% happy with the unopened box you can return it lol
And I'm using Windows 8.1, with Windows 10 is even worse.
Don't buy it except if it costs £20, you will regret
P.s: it's the last time that I buy something on Argos

How long have you had it? If it's less than 12 months then try returning it due to poor performance as the screen doesn't do what it's made to do. The screen is unresponsive therefor making it not fit for purpose as a touch screen tablet. You have to stand your ground with them though. I had them take back a mobile phone as the charger port stopped working and they tried refusing. After a few minutes of me making a scene in front of their customers, they changed their mind and gave me a refund as I refused a replacement due to poor quality build

I bought it in a store in Ireland. Because I opened the box they didn't want to give me a refund. It's funny, they say that if you are not totally happy with your purchase you can return it...but the box has to be sealed...how can I be entirely satisfied if I don't test it? crazy...

The refurbished Eluma B1 looks a better deal to me.
A week or so ago I bought the Eluma B1 8 inch tablet refurbished from Argos. It has 2GB ram, 32GB storage (I also added a 32GB SD card) and mine came with 12 months Office 365 included (I'm not totally sure whether this was good luck. There was a sticker on the box for Office 365 but it wasn't mentioned in the Argos listing). My tablet looked like new and comes with a 12 month guarantee.
At the time it was £54.99, though now seems to be £59.99. I updated immediately to Windows 10 and it runs really well.

HEAT on this deal as you get a decent entry level windows tablet that can do all
the day to day things that tablets need to do!

I had one of these it died on update to windows ten. Touch screen failed to know where I was inputting. Updating drivers and everything was no use and couldn't get any help. On paper it's great in reality it was the worst tablet I've ever had. So I won't vote either way on this.

The responsiveness of the screen is pretty poor and the battery is not great either. I have it at home because they didn't allow me to return it.

Didn't you know that if you ordered online you can return it under Distance Selling Regulations? Even after that you can return it as it isn't fit for purpose. A touchscreen tablet with an unresponsive touchscreen. They will always tell you no unless you know your rights

Yes. Not sure why they gave the bigger screen less RAM.

Worth the extra £ and a very good 8" all rounder with 2gb, which should keep the hukd "Oh it's only got
1gb flamers happy!" ;-)
