they should be used with ethernet cable better whenever possible, they are really good with that.

I bought these before Christmas for £35 and I have to say I'm not impressed. They drop connection all the time and you need to take up 2 sockets as you plug router in and then one of these (can't plug into extension in case you were wondering). I'd pay for more reliable ones.

Not my experience - used to live in a flat where wifi was ultra crap because of extra thick walls. This was the only thing that ever worked, and it was in an extension lead!

Forgot to mention they had this as a multi set for £24 but none left on shelf (that set had a extra wifi plug in the box)

Put one of these in at Christmas and it really does work....most of the time. Cuts out about once a month or so for some unfathomable reason and has to be restarted.
