Watch on Netflix?!?
Not in my house. Netflix sometime stutters, drops to VHS quality, and that's when I can even log in! Blu-rays have never let me down (apart from the odd audio / visual sync problem) :smirk:

If everybody thought the same as you then networks would simply stop releasing these and maybe even stop making shows as no doubt you download shows to watch and then whinge if they get cancelled (why is the show being cancelled I'm a fan even though I don't contribute to it's ratings in any form because I download) . Gets on my nerves no wonder we have so much reality tv on our screens.

Funny thing is YOU should've known by simply performing a search. Keep a lid on your sarcasm.
It's also on Netflix if you don't want to pay for the boxset!

With cardboard cases you are forced to hold the disc on it's surface to get it out. Fingerprints everywhere! Also the cardboard scratches the disc surface when removed or inserted. Admittedly not such a problem with the harder wearing Blu-rays, but a nightmare with DVDs that are permanently marked.
I've never had the centre of a disc damaged DVD or Blu-ray  But yes, sometimes the teeth grippers can break.

Oh well that deal didn't last long..... sneaky zoom voucher deal :disappointed:
If Zoom sell out at least you know where the 2nd best choice is....
I just had a look through my Amazon history and found that I paid £50 for breaking bad on dvd a couple of years ago.
I've only watched it twice since then but I have to say it was worth every penny even at that rather 'inflated' price. It is an incredible series and takes you on a real journey. Totally recommended, wherever you choose to buy
I find individual cardboard season slip cases are much quicker and easier to use, and I find the centres of the discs don't get damaged so easily.
I hate the clear brittle type cases which often crack in the post, and I always struggle getting the discs off those awful raised pegs, which often have bits snap off, and then the messing about taking one disc out, in order to get to the disc behind it.
The softer cloudy looking plastic type are not quite so annoying to me....lol
I unpacked my new Bewitched boxset today and the fist thing I said was 'yay' cardboard slip cases.... lol

Be aware that this set has horrible packaging. Box is glossy and sturdy enough but season discs are housed in cardboard envelopes. :disappointed: I sold it and bought the individual season Blu-ray Amarays.

Oh I didn't know HMV still had an online presence! I wasn't aware of any fluctuations in price; I've been keeping an eye out as I'd like a copy of the set at a slightly better price than this. £30 new and I'm in!
That post was for an in-store deal
I knew the price had fallen to £34.99 last month, but I was under the impression that it had risen again and had only just dropped back down to £34.99 today.
