This used to be a premium crisp before all the kettle chips etc came out and all you had was normal walkers, golden wonder, smiths in the bog standard flavors. How come they've ended up only available in the discount stores? Probably in another 25 years Rolex will be exclusive to Argos.

You mean you don't knew Tesco et al supermarkets screw their suppliers really tight with demands for mega discounted supplies? Brannigans probably got squeeze out.

Not on offer in Thanet. No ham & mustard and compared to how they use to taste is nothing quite like they should but then for 20p a packet/5 for £1. Prefer the old style

Never had them, not the biggest crisp fan... However:

Farmfoods and B&M both sells these at £1 each. Works out as the same deal - except it's continuous

This might be going too far, but I actually think that if facing imminent death and circumstances allowed, I would choose the beef and mustard as my last meal. I can't seem to disassociate the brown paper bag from the experience though, bit miffed they have changed that.

You could specify it has to be the brown paper bag as a delay tactic.

A 5 pack is about 2 & a half bags of a proper sized pack.
But considering a proper sized back can cost 80p, these are a steal.
Been buying mine from there for ages & will be stocking up tomorrow evening after work

while still very tasty and full of flavour when they switched from the paper bag the crisps also changed and became thinner. still one of the better crisp out there
