I have B and W and KEF and some BOSE companion 3 speakers too. Some BOSE stuff is great. Audio is a very subjective thing. I am no expert but my mother is a music teacher and listens to a lot of classic music. Her speaker and amp set up choice is therefore very different to mine. I quite like my BOSE speakers, plus they are great for a minimalist desk but still with good audio. To say don't buy them because you don't like them is stupid. Though as hotukdeals is clearly an opinion site nowadays as opposed to a deals site I'll back down. Have some heat for a good deal as cheaper then anywhere else.

Who would ever have thought a simple post about cheap speakers could bring out all these folks with low self esteem who bolster their shortcomings through brand identification and degradation.
Nice speakers. excellent price. Hot.

No you don't have to pay anything to use your own music on Google Play music after you upload it. They do a free tool that you install on you computer and it automatically uploads any new music you add to your music folder. It's great. Can use on up to 10 devices including iOS too.

After much research I went for some studio monitor speakers for my setup and the sound quality is on another level.

Good for the price and will sound better than any built in PC/laptop speaker.

Thanks Dad. I think they're around £380 for the Momentum's. From what I've read, the QC25's are the king of Noise Cancellation but the Momentum's aren't far off, and the fact they are Wireless makes the world of difference. You can plug them in as well so you get the best of both worlds.

Wow, people like upsetting one another. I have these speakers in my kitchen hooked up to my old Joggler (thanks hukd) with Squeezeplay OS. For that purpose they are great and have given years of good listening. Ignoring the usual mid levels debate they fill the room well with more depth and bass than most other compact pc type speakers including the Logitech set they replaced. I paid £75 and was worried until I heard them so at this price a very good deal.

Go listen to them for yourself and never ever listen to sheep.

On a side note my BOSE companion 3 and BOSE sound docks have had a massive new lease of life thanks to Chromecast Audio (these speakers would too) Upload all my music to Google Music (especially MOS stuff not on Spotify) or use Spotify premium and you have an analog system that can play up to 320k without battery drain on your phone like AirPlay. Most importantly, it works with both Apple and Android as I swap between both regularly!

Question (sorry OP - off topic): Do you have to pay for Google Music if you've uploaded all your own music there? And, for uploading, do you mean that you've uploaded your own ripped or bought music to Google?

Bose QC25
Bose QC25 or Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Wireless not much difference in terms of price, no?
But then if you have to borrow money then pursuing audio pleasure shouldn't be high up in your list of things to do...

Snobs dismiss BOSE straight away but as someone who ownes/owned low-endish Hifi (Roksan, Quad, Esoteric, Sony ES, B&W) I can assure you that BOSE do produce quality gear - especially their noise cancelling cans.
Never listened to these speakers posted but I'm pretty sure any *stereo* speakers will produce better soundstage / more realistic sound than those portable bluetooth speakers which are inundating the market right now.

I was looking at the Bose QC25's but I ultimately decided on the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Wireless (can I borrow some money please?).
