Today I got the boots meal deal for only 63p. I used the O2 priority app which discounts it to £1 but the girl mentioned something about shapers and it was only 63p. Receipt includes 5p for bag which is optional!
My first post - please be kind if I have missed something out. Thanks

Looks like they've pulled the plug on this loophole in my local :disappointed:
I'm just glad I managed to get at least one 1p meal deal before they stopped it.

Has the £1 meal deal offer expired? Couldn't find it on the app today

Is everyone aware that the Jamie Oliver range is included in the £1 deal? normally you pay a premium on top of the £3 price.

I find if I just turn the screen off after activating the offer. When I turn the screen back on the timer has reset, (as many times as Iike) so I could send someone else in with my phone or wait for a new staff member at the till. and get more. lol. ( I haven't as yet)
Or pop to another Boots store.

I go for the more expensive sandwiches and smoothie options for the deal. Always use my Boots Advantage card too - it's linked with my Boots Contact Lens Plan giving 10% off any Boots own label items - so the O2 £1 Meal deal usually costs about 78p!
WHSmith also has an O2 £1 Meal deal on Mondays - unfortunately none nearby sell sandwiches so I can't use that deal

Not really a "deal" as you're just buying cheaper items and getting the standard o2 discount. Personally I tend to make the most of it and spend £8 and pay a quid saving a massive £7 and have a more premium meal than to have something basic and just save the standard £2.29 off. Always get a Naked smoothie or coconut drink that can cost £3 alone and some of the £2 sweets are included (used to be up to £1.35 value I think but now certain other things are included) and a trio sandwich for £3.75. But each to their own regarding what products are superior and judging the value factor I suppose!

How is it expired? It's weekly
New sandwich Korean bbq is quite tasty, usually get salad or pasta
Same as above I'd rather get the most expensive items as I don’t mind paying the £1

Well, if you have another email address and another back account you could open another checkoutsmart account ... however I wouldn't dream of suggesting that ;-)

I usually get the pasta as it is tastier than the sandwiches

Is it just me or are boots sandwiches really bland?

Not just you - they are. Not a patch on M&S or Waitrose, but at £1 for a meal deal................

Some of them can be, but there are a few good ones. The "Tuna, Grilled Peppers & Pea" is nice, my current favourite is the "Smoked Salmon and Wasabi Cream Cheese".

depends on the sandwich you get, the price is sometimes a bit less. Also they give little paper bags for meal deals, depending on who you have at the till, only one person has ever told me.

the deal effectively gives you £2.29 discount off the meal deal price of £3.29
if you buy the cheapest sandwich, snack and drink which can come to £2.29 its effectively free!
worked for me many times
