the perfect special edition of a game for me is one that includes a steel book case and a artbook. i hate the other junk like cheap statues. i would have bought this if i didnt already have the game.

I'm certainly tempted to sell my standard copy and get this. Still haven't played the DLC though and I'd prefer to keep a collector's edition sealed. Plus I've promised myself the Old Hunters edition if/when it drops in price on PlayAsia!

Pretty bad game. Marginally better than all the other souls rubbish that they've produced but still 2-3 more iterations from producing a game that is actually worth playing.

Not exactly bad, but I wouldn't buy it if I were you. The GOTY edition has just released, so unless you really care for a steelcase etc... the GOTY is the obvious choice since it's bundled with the DLC.

Love the soul's rubbish, dark souls 1 is my favourite bit of rubbish

This is $50 (£25) on PSN Canada with all the DLC, in case that appeals to anyone :smiley:

Collector's Edition.....no wait GOTY Edition...no wait Final Edition...no wait ...give me a couple of years then I might remember to take a look in hindsight at the one you should have released in the first place and that's about 730 days you've not had a sale. Well done. :smirk:

Glad I Pre ordered my nightmare edition

I bought this for a lot more, comes in a steelbook, a small art book and also the soundtrack. The soundtrack itself is pretty awesome and highly recommended even if you don't get it with this. Have some heat :smiley:
