Asda Dalgety Bay are selling 12 x 330ml bottles of Birra Moretti for £6 a pack. The 4 pack is £5. This is an excellent price for a decent beer.
A few confirmed sightings elsewhere, so looks like it is Nationwide.

It's still available, just think that asda stores are just drip feeding them onto the shelves....

It's generally not your palate that gets injured by Stella.......

what rot this is. carlsberg is not only awful but below 4.5%. and as for your assertion that "premium" lager is somehow brewed by a different method: LOL. thousands of lagers are all brewed in slightly different ways and with different ingredients, but the larger commercial brands all barely vary in method. there is absolutely no such thing as a clear dividing line between "premium" and "non-premium" aside from maybe weaker beer spending less time in fermentation.
Moretti has quite a distinctive taste. i would recommend it, but your palate, inured by years of stella, might take a while to get accustomed to it.

Ah I understand. I thought you were suggesting that moretti did a standard and a premium lager, but you were talking more in general terms.
This is a very nice premium type lager (even better on draft) and well worth 50p a bottle.

premium lager is the way is made, the process. This is a premium lager, always higher percentage of alcohol to be considered a premium, usually over 4.5% and no more than 5.2%. Same process for peroni nastro azzurro, stella artois, Carlsberg and many others. Same type of taste and very difficult to spot which is which, that is why I always buy stella artois which does usually comes cheaper than anything else.we do blind bier tasting at home and we always get it wrong when it comes to these few that are good in taste. The cheaper but good one always does the job very well as it is not any less than some others that do come at a premium price like peroni etc... Going to try Moretti tomorrow..........

I'm not sure what one you mean. I am only aware of the lager and la rossa (ruby colour and 7.2%).
The one in Asda is the 4.6% lager (pic below).
