Just make sure to shout into it when you're using it and have conversations with your .com friends at the wine bar about "radiation from it causing brain damage" and " so glad I don't have to send numerical messages by pager anymore now"

> There is a 'XXL' size battery model
Ever seen a link for one? Seems to be vapour-ware :-(

The battery in the link is the smaller size 'L' battery that comes with the standard BRICK edition.
Has no chargeable stand base.
This battery is similar to the Nokia BL-5C battery.
1 month battery life.
The 'XL' size battery comes with the 'Power Edition' model.
Has the chargeable stand base.
3 months battery life.
There is a 'XXL' size battery model.
Has chargeable stand base.
6 month battery life.
Can you repost the link? It's broken "http://****/CRG6P8"

Anyone know what batteries these use? I think I recall somewhere it's a Nokia model? There's a seemingly unavailable "XXL" version of the battery for 6 months (!) standby life. Would be cool to be able to get a compatible battery... :-)

Excellent. The speaker is loud. As is the ringtone volume.
Even just to throw in the boot of the car as a spare phone it is worth the money.

I meant i bought one of these for mY disabled mother tO Use in her cARE home. because it acted and looked like An ordinary handset she managed to use it with easy. it received a good signal and worked out at a fraction of the cost of putting in a landline. i don't think she was BotherEd as you seemed to be about what she Looked LikE using it, aND she was bedridden any way.

The one posted by the OP is a 2G mobile phone as well a bluetooth handset, the one you posted is not also a mobile phone so that why the OP's one is more expensive.

I got the home edition and very pleased with it. Only thing I don't like is the keypad, the 7,8,9 row isn't where I'd assume it to be. The Bluetooth would be good as you can ring through your phone and the brick will make the call, saving on data but how bad have you got it needing to play your music through an old skool house phone? would've preferred it in white but nice looking phone in person

Power edition? Next thing, they'll put a touchscreen on it and make it pocket-sized
