Yeah, i think the main charactor was a rip off from one of the charators from the bash street kids by the look of it. ha

Thanks for the advice. Downloaded perfect viewer and the troublesome files work!
Saved me a lot of hassle and it looks like I have a new favourite comics app.

I should probably have mentioned I use comicrack on android with my samsung tab s which, just like householdhorror, works absolutely fine with everything else I've thrown at it except these Humble Bundle files. I've tried redownloading Django but it still doesn't like it in Comicrack.
Strange, seems it's probably an issue at my end yet the files do the exact same on comicrack on my phone.

Just tried that with a copy of Djano/Zorro I downloaded from Humble earlier today and it looks to be a valid file that opens cleanly.
Can you try redownloading in case there was a problem with an early version of the file that has been fixed now ?
If you have a way to calculate md5 hashes the Django file should be "ed7e5fa0ed495f6a23640524d8deb4c8"
Certainly I can confirm that matches the hash of the copy I downloaded

I just gave that a try with the Django Zorro Collection and extracted with 7zip and got a couple of 'CRC failed. File is broken' errors. I assume it will be the same for the others, there are pdf versions available but I prefer cbr/z. :disappointed:

Heat, even though the last time i read a comic was way back in the mid 70s, The Cheeky, anybody remember The Cheeky.

I don't remember buying The Cheeky but the lead character and many of the covers look very familiar.
Still have the first issue of Ghost Rider (1973) in a box somewhere, gotta be worth something (any comic experts on HUKD?)

I bought this last night and some of the cbz versions seem to be corrupted.
I read my comics on Comicrack and quite a few of these comics aren't loading, they have a big red crossed out circle on them. I've also tried Challenge Comics reader and Moon+ reader with no joy, I've downloaded them direct and via the torrent link.
Anyone else experienced similar or is it just me?

Have you tried changing the file extension to .zip and checking whether the files are valid by trying to open them with 7-zip or winzip ?
(.cbz files are just zip archives of images with a different extension and .cbr files are just rar archives)

That happens to me a lot with humble bundle. Tried them on multiple apps, redownloaded countless times... nothing. Sometimes it'd seem to be fine but was in fact only the cover. Everything else downloaded including comics from other sources is always fine.
The only thing that worked was getting a completely different app (perfect viewer) which inexplicably has no trouble with them. Totally bizarre, though I thought it was just me so I guess that's something.

I find the app is hit and miss more than the website and the cbz files have more issues than most others regardless how they are downloaded. Worth shooting an email to support though, they can probably fix it for you. I've never had problems with the pdf and epub versions though, even the HQ versions are pretty reliable.
I grabbed this bundle, I like the dynamite bundles and anything with the Jim Butcher and Patricia Briggs books are in my instabuy category. From the last bundles I've actually found the Vampirella and Red Sonja volumes are really good. Looking forward to reading the game of thrones ones and seeing what others get added. I look forward to these bundles, I'm not a huge comic fan and they can get expensive otherwise so these bundles are great, I kind of wish there was some kind of subscription for the dynamite books or that humble ran these every month.
