I was browsing PSN Store last night and found BF4 Premium on sale for just £11.99. Gives you some awesome premium game play perks, such as server spots and periodic battle packs.
As well as all of this you get 12 gold battle packs and all 5 DLC multiplayer maps.
This can also be bought through the PSN store online.

Bought the premium add on the other day on PS4 as I was sick of Black Ops 3 (traded in) and wanted to give BF4 another try. Love it but agree some modes and maps on this are ghost towns. Great if a bunch of mates have it though. Add me if you like.

Dice LA are due to make a big announcement soon about bf4 according to some of the devs on Twitter. Could be new maps or something but I wonder are they going to release premium for free? It's been two years and it splits the players which is why most sensible games give away all the maps and keep making.money with skins and micro transactions

I believe the difference between these two is that the one you have screen shot is the whole game and the DLC, the offer is for Premium which gives you all DLC maps and premium membership if you already have the game. I have amended the title of the offer if it confused you.

Will stay the same. This is the premium pass (will unlock the other map packs you don't own). Plus give you plenty of premium battle packs to open.

As already mentioned, the servers are still thriving on this even after 2 years. I bought the game last November but was concerned not many would be playing, that concern turned out to be pointless though, it's still very active and more to the point bloody brilliant. No bouncing around off the walls crap.
A word of advice though, don't bother with the Premium edition, nearly everyone is playing on the original maps, the map packs are a Ghost town in comparison, even on the free map packs. That'll be because the base maps are ace though.

Very true with the maps, china rising is a free map pack but it's a struggle to get a full game.
Only reason for premium with all the maps is if you're a player that likes to unlock everything. There's a few guns you need the map packs for to unlock. Some other stuff is premium users only as well.

The same thing has happened to me on psn. Although it was for the ps3 version of the game.

Hmmm, I'm thinking of buying this on ps3 for my nephew but it's a bit more expensive. Are ps3 versions still eligible for upgrades to ps4? So if he was to get a ps4 in a few months would he be able to upgrade it to the ps4 version?

bought battlefield 4 two months ago, great game whenever I have the time to play and beats all that futuristic jumping p2p servers crap in black ops 3 (probably why that has shot down in price recently), it's a mans game compared to cod. Unfortunately it's stuck on my backlog of games, because of atm the brilliant wwe 2k16 stone cold steve austin showcase mode.

Battlefield 3 premium Edition has been £7.99 with the game. The £11.99 now is just for the dlc.
